In my opinion, Coachella isn't that bad, it's just... really not as accomplished as what she usually releases. Nothing is catastrophic in the song - even the lyrics are a little novative, even though they are clumsily written - but I just feel the whole as something weak. I can easily picture it being the worst song on the record, even though I can't help but having low expectations for In My Feelings...

i still dont get the hate for change, it sounds hauntingly beautiful, and if we're following the 'formula' from UV to now, 13 Beaches should be a major highlight along with the other 3rd place tracks SOC n TLY  
 
i just wanna see the UO version and the Boxset photos (pray to god it's not 5 prints of all the singles' cover's with the album cover as an extra. HM lowered the bar and if LfL somehow still drops it i aint buying LDR5 Boxset )

I know that this is kind of late, but it's better to educate people on their mistakes rather than attacking them for being problematic.

Honestly probably wouldn't have as much of a problem with CWIMM if I didn't hear that beautiful snippet she posted in the woods, the one that caused me to fantasize about how the finished track would sound, something a little dark but pensive and emotional. It felt like it could have been a mature ballad about fame and politics, her changing ambitions from trying to cement herself as a legend to being more aware of the world around her, spirituality and what that means to her, being both hopeful and feeling kind of helpless about all the chaos in the world, etc. It just felt like there were a lot of place she could have taken it--and she has come through in the past with being able to invoke a lot of different ideas/images while tying everything together in a cohesive whole.
Instead, way too much of it is about Father John Misty's set, the words to birds thing feels well-intentioned but kind of an easy cop out when trying to address complicated real world issues, the production is a mess for the most part and doesn't seem to even be going along with the song and melody, and she sounds incredibly bored when singing the majority of the track. And yes, that style of singing has worked a lot in the past when it felt deliberate and added extra layers to the story on the song, sometimes almost feeling like a commentary on modern life/her subject matters, but here it just feels like she was over it before they hit record. 
That being said, writing about politics in songs is a very hard thing to get right, and I do think she genuinely was being sincere (as opposed to just following the "woke" trend that is kind of happening in pop culture right now), and it's cool she wants to branch out, but that doesn't mean she is exempt from any criticism. 

The truth is that i'm Lana, rn i'm in vacation in Brazil while you ungrateful/inpatient cunts keep complaining about the beautiful/subversive work of art that Coachella is and the fuckin cover art.
Swallow it up gays, the cover will be the one that Chuck photographed and there's no Yosemite on the album nor deluxe edition - I prefer to keep this one to myself and only teased about it to make you all thirsty -

She said there would be more videos, right? Maybe for Cherry, SB, White Mustang and/or GBA- ASDFGHJKL? Please no Coachella it would be cheesy af 

I think if we ever have to wait for an album a really long time again like 2 years, someone with a lot of unleaked should just drop an 'unleaked album' of 14 tracks all together at once. It would be fun.

I doubt it's pushed back. Both V Magazine and the French magazine both said it'll be released on the 21st. Let's not get our hopes up cause god can only imagine the meltdowns (including my own) when this turns to shit lol

Even though I'm a fan since 2011, this is the first era I'm really involved in, and I found it cool to join the forum and get to talk with other stans from the whole world ❤️

By the way, I was wondering; when Lana refers to the two tracks that were composed before the Honeymoon release, don't you think that Lust For Life could not be included in these two songs? I mean, since she worked on it for one year and a half, she could have meant that she had two songs done before Honeymoon was released - which makes sense because Beautiful People is on the album and it was registered, and probably finished, in August 2015 at the same time as Wild One.
 
I keep hoping for a Deluxe with Wild One and Yosemite, she made me so thirsty for that song after all these descriptions
