I second this. Of course the hype for Endgame has been big but I think it was even bigger for Infinity War? I'm not much of a Marvel fanboy like I've mentioned before, I've seen most of the films but I never really thought that much about them to be honest. But when I first saw Infinity War I was shook within the first minutes, that Asgardian emergency broadcast or whatever gave me the chills and seeing all those dead bodies before Thanos was revealed in his golden armor like what a daddy And honest to god, I am no stranger to cliffhangers but for some unknown reason I really didn't expect it to end the way it did so my jaw dropped when I realized that the end credits were just about to roll. The silence in the theater was devastating. With Endgame we already know that the old Avengers will pass the torch to newcomers like Spider-Man, Black Panther and Captain Marvel so seeing them being beaten by Thanos for good - I assume - probably won't come as much of a shock but I guess we'll see. Presale for tickets over here starts tomorrow so we'll definitely grab some IMAX ones, I'll probably ask a day off from work as well so we could go see it a couple of days after the premiere on the 27th. I just wanna see more of Captain Marvel in action and Thanos in that golden armor, fck me up my huge purple daddy.

So another Ruisrock gig in Finland... I know I've been saying shit about the new stuff but karma shouldn't be working this hard. I'd buy tickets in a second if she actually performed on her own at some venue and not yet another festival.

New Orleans, LA @ The Buku Project Festival - March 22, 2019

This so much. Like I don't know if I can compare but there's this one Finnish artist that I've been listening to five years now, I've seen her like 7 times throughout the years and I've said hi to her after all of them except for one time because the place was packed as she's been getting a lot more popular. I also did a single cover for her in 2014. First two gigs I took a selfie with her and also once when I randomly bumped into her, but other than that just being there to support her has been enough. By now she knows me and my boyfriend somewhat well enough so asking for a selfie feels awkward, I don't need it and it's more chill - and natural - just quickly exchanging news, discussing music and whatnot and letting the new fans meet and take time with her instead. I'm definitely over the "idol thing", she's a normal human being just like me who just happens to be famous because of what she does for her living. I don't care for front row either, I'm actually way more comfortable being somewhat in the background. She's releasing a new album next Friday after many years and we're going to the release party/show and of course I'd like to congratulate her in person because I know it's been a long journey, maybe get an autograph on the new album just because I have the previous two signed as well, but I'm good even if I don't get to do that. Like I said, just being there to support her is enough for me. -
Gaga might be involved in Cyberpunk 2077 one way or another, as if I wasn't already excited for the game. It would be amazing if she played a futuristic popstar character in the game with some LG6 songs - or completely new ones released only in the game and its soundtrack - playing around the open world and car radio stations. Edit: And if we could go see her show in the game if we wanted to

Oh my god watching these really opened my eyes, I miss the old Lana who had some balls, now when she's doing live it almost feels like she's very fragile and on the brink of collapsing even though she seems to be in a much better - and stable? - place in her life. Oh well I guess she had to be like that back in the day when we she was still going through some rough times, I don't know. She's definitely faded which is sad. -

Honestly I'm so close to unfollowing this bitch on Instagram -
Trying to decide whether I like the snippets or not Like, when I first saw the tracklist I was worried of the ultra generic Baby being in there and if it would stand out too much but based on what we've heard of the album so far, well it seems like it fits downright perfect and for me that's a shit situation. The "double album" concept was an interesting idea at first but ehh now I guess it's more clear that she just ended up having material that would make a disjointed record so she decided to split it in two collections to justify it. Handmade Heaven has grown on me but with Baby and Superstar - and Orange Trees, judging by the snippets - I feel like I won't give the Love part of the record that much of my time so Fear better deliver. I wish I could say that I dig this new material but after all these years I expected more from her.

Wow I'm actually surprisingly excited even though the album title is a mess. You know I'm all about synths and Visions but I'm very interested in seeing how this album will turn out. This announcement had me listening to WAP on repeat as I walked to work this morning, I should listen to it more.

She looks good with blue hair but for me that's about it

God knows Madonna performing at ESC would be downright iconic. Imagine how wild the gay audience would go, passing out here and there.
-
I'm finally going to see Captain Marvel tomorrow! I'm so excited for her to empower my white gay ass with the iconic "I'm not gonna fight your war - I'm gonna to end it" line

So a week ago they put some old t-shirts for sale and today they announced a limited edition of colored cassettes... and not just the old albums but also the new ones Vulnicura is so pretty but I'm still debating whether to pre-order it or not, I've been spending way too much € lately so I don't know...

Ooh midsummer is a thing over here so this sort of hits close to home for me, even though we don't do that dancing-around-a-giant-pole thing and it's a bit different here than it is in Sweden - except for probably areas that are mostly populated by Swedish-speaking Finns. Watching the trailer reminded me of a low-budget "horror" film I saw a few years ago, if I remember correctly it was about Russian tourists who were locked up in a Finnish supermarket at night and the employees started attacking and eating them or something, some of them were caught and taken to a fancy lake villa where a group of rich Finns were about to sacrifice and eat them in honor of midsummer. It's all a blur to me now because it was so bad lol Also yaaaasss Suspiria comes out on blu-ray on April 1st over here

Well that's it, here's our song this year. Don't expect much from the performance, I just saw it live on TV and shit was underwhelming af although it was all I expected, some screen stuff and the vocalist is absolutely horrible live. We'll be at the bottom this year too lmao
