hey y'all I made a quick concept for a potential Ocean BLVD site theme- its verrrryyyy rough so pls dont go awfff on me! 
I was super inspired by the colorful psychedelic Neil shots for this era (and equally frightened by the thought of a potential ocean blvd site theme that was mostly comprised of black & white photos and a monochrome / dull colour scheme) so I came up w this. I also wanted to include the iconic titty pic because it is SO beyond legendary. I think the pink & blue tones work really well together too. let me know what u guys think!! 


 
(I feel like some text I made pink but should've been blue & vice versa, but this is a pretty clear idea of what I think the site theme should look like!! it would be so beautiful imo!!)

Made this last week, inspired by king @kallumlavigne's LMLYLAM cover and ofc Neil Krug alt. cover. I wanted to post it with a vinyl mockup but i didn't finish that yet and i wanted to celebrate the cummin of COCC with y'all  So here it is, hope you like it!

Okay so I did a little research (stalking) about Aaron and I thought I’d look on lanas personal Facebook (is it confirmed it’s hers idk) and she is friends with two Greenes a Chris and Ivan greene. Do we think maybe they are something to do with him? Idk I’m just trying to peace together who Aaron is and if he is actually K 

I never thought of the fact that they could’ve been neighbors, but that’s such a good theory that seems plausible

my theory is that k was lana's childhood friend, most likely her neighbour, not much older. she probably grew up with him, at a certain age started developing a crush on him. he was probably her first "love".
 
him being of course problematic, "chasing for that paper", abusing drugs, committing crimes and in general being a bad influence on her during their teenage years (pre-boarding school).
 
pt. 1 to me reads as if the police arrived to arrest him at his place, lana being his neighbour could hear the sirens from her room. she most likely never got the chance to see him again after they took him.
 
she probably had many questions, "what did he do?", "why did he do it?". he was a "nice guy", he was her friend, her first love, why did he leave her?
 
she keeps asking him "is this what you wished...?", questions she never got to make him directly and never got the answers to. imagine then hearing through the news that your childhood friend and first love was found guilty for double homicide and later sent on to death row.
 
are you still with me? i think these lines in fingertips might be about k
 
 
she did say something about explaining everything from the beginning. if k is real then to me it makes sense that she's mentioning him in fingertips too.
 
also, not defending lana's mom, but if one of my daughter's only friends (we know lana used to struggle socially back then) and probably first boyfriend turns out to be a criminal and a bad influence on my daughter, with her developing problems with alcohol and also undiagnosed mental health issues, i mean... not hard to see why she would want to send lizzy away to boarding school.
 
i know those lines are open to many interpretations but anyways thanks for reading my fanfiction

it seems like arthur lynn must've had an impact on her, it seems like he introduced her to a lot of music which probably influenced her for years to come, i'm pretty certain the whole "hawaiian glam metal" description, as well as the infatuation with "metal" or "boys who like metal" as she said in the trailer park interview came from him, also, his favorite drink was/is? diet mountain dew, he even ran a fan-page for diet mountain dew on myspace (which can be seen on her friends-list in some screenshots) which obviously is the title of one of her born to die songs, also, she says "dizzy from loving you" in WTWWAWWKD, arthur lynn has a song that's very obviously about her titled "dizzy", may just be a coincidence, but you never know

nitpicking, but i don't believe she was with him when she was 20, which would've been 2005, it seems like their relationship primarily took place in 2007, when she was 22, (which is mentioned in dizzy ) however, this photo of them together seems to be from a later date, maybe 2008? perhaps they got back together for a brief period of time, or just remained friends! honestly, arthur lynn might be my favorite boyfriend of lana's, he just seems really cool and it seems like he only influenced her in positive ways
 

 

Lana was so real for lying as much as she did bc lying to strangers is so fun like what are you gonna do? Say I’m lying? I’ll just create another lie to cover it up
