Norman Fucking Rockwell - Post-Release Discussion Thread + Poll
Serene Queen replied to Elle's topic in Post-Release Threads
I agree 100%. There are certainly songs that convey feelings mimicking sadness, such as California (regret), The Greatest (nostalgia), HIAB (longing), and, as you mentioned, Hope, with its apathetic numbness. The only song on the record that I consider to be straight up sad is Fuck It I Love You (which I consider to be the saddest song in her discography). -
not her best, but not bad

About 5 minutes ago when I tried opening the top of my window instead of the bottom because I know the bottom is hard to close. The top was just as hard to close. When was the last time you did something dumb in public

Birthday Suit has gotta be one of my favorite songs ever...the post chorus is incredible, I love that she’s so incredibly talented that she can make the phrase “god I wanna get you in your birthday suit” sound so triumphant. Plus this song is what I’m feeling rn sooo...

This is genuinely one of the most beautiful films I’ve ever seen. First of all, the visuals are INCREDIBLE, I can’t even put it into words. And the plot and the acting are impeccable, this one of only two films I have seen in my entire life that have moved me to tears. I’m just speechless, honestly. Top 3 favorite movies ever for sure!
