I feel like this is a big reason it didn't resonate with a lot of people. People use music as an escape and clearly Marina has done some therapy or worked through a lot of the issues that drove her to write her previous albums so she's not in that place anymore, but a lot of people still are so it just doesnt hit the same way.

She keeps calling this her "most personal" album yet all these demos are coming to light. Yikes.

When she sings "You're in the yard, I light the fire, and as the summer fades away... Nothing gold can stay" that's when I start transcending, but after she sings it the second time and it goes into that guitar solo and her saying YEAH... CHYEAH, that's when I'm truly SENT.

it makes me so sad that we will never get another album like AKA, BTD, and UV. like yeah all of her albums are AMAZING, but there is just something about those ones that is so special to me.

I looked at Younger Now which Miley wrote entirely alone and her and the producer split it 50/50, so I'm guessing it's because he wrote on and produced NFR, it's just kinda wack that he's making more off this record than Lana. I wasn't trying to imply she didn't write it, we all know she likes to write her own music and have control over what she puts out.

I highly doubt Jack wrote 50% of the words. Knowing Lana, her previous co-workers, her process and the progress of her lyrics, she writes the words entirely, for the expection of a few tracks. Songwriting also includes composition, and we know Jack made a lot of composition on NFR!.

So I was curious about Lana's songwriting ownership and i was looking at ACEAPs repertory and most (maybe all) of the songs are 25% owned by lana and 75% owned by jack antonoff. Thoughts? does he really deserve that much?

Swan Song and Love song.

I love Lana so much and her music is pure magic but it sucks knowing we will never get a big era like Born To Die with performances and promo, magazine shoots, and CONSISTENCY with the image of BTD... I know Lana needs to feel free to create her art but I just feel like she would benefit from someone helping her shape whatever image she's going to use fro the next era so everything can be consistent and well rolled out because she has a hard time staying focused on one thing.
