Sadly, I associated all her new music with a volatile relationship at that time and so it just takes me back to memories I could really do without right now. Some day in the late future, I'll listen to it again when I'm better. As for her older songs, they usually bring me such joy and almost like some sort of relief, even if they're depressive or dark (because I feel understood). Her crazy songs, her happy songs and so on - all of her moods all relatable. Her very first bigger songs (from BTD) take me back to when I was especially young and naive. I dunno, I'll always have a place for her ♡♡

Miley doesn't sound or look like she fits in. Her voice doesn't match a song like this. I don't know if  the drugs and partying from the Bangerz era might have started aging her prematurely, or her bad hair and makeup, but her style in the video gives the vibe of a middle aged woman who threw on a random skimpy outfit in an attempt to show off that "she's still got it".

her interviews she has done are so lukewarm meh, like they're just a bunch of gibberish about the same things (mental illness, her philanthropy, etc) she has talked about in the past. I kinda wish they'd bring up the whole hai*ey bieb*r drama in some way to keep locals interested again to stream LYTLM   or more tea on her new music just to keep things exciting. I've noticed a lack of conversation about her transplant and the experience, which i respect if she doesn't want to speak on it but it would be cool to hear about it. Perhaps she has control on what can be asked but these interviewers (zach sang) seem afraid to go there and literally aren't giving us what we really wanna know like c'mon. Idk i'd expected more after being absence for 4 years!!

This is a very personal song for me. This song reminded me of my dead brother. I lost him in February 2018 and it was a very hard time and I still miss him so much. He loved this song and he had a little Band with some friends and they covered that song. Personally I like this song too but it is a very emotional for me to listen to it. I avoid to listen to this song in public bc it feels like a connection to my brother and this song leaves me in tears

The topic is iffy to a point for me bc if it wasn't for Cunt-lumbus I literally wouldn't exist but at the same time fuck him for literally helping erase the Taino people and almost all of its culture. I could definitely care less about celebrating him and we definitely need to change his day to Indigenous Day. Native Americans are truly and unfortunately 3rd class citizens in a First World country. I've seen on twitter that elementary school teachers are now teaching the truth about Demon-lumbus which is a great way to start educating people about the white-washed history of the world.
 
I've been wanting to try and do a DNA test because I'm the whitest Puerto Rican in my family tree apart from some of those in my dad's grandfather's side (Spanish ancestry), everyone else is fairer, caramel, or dark-skinned. Its truly an interesting topic

No. I'm grateful, for where I am, and I guess I'm the only one who can really say why I am where I am and know that it's valid, but I'm not content, and I'm working more towards where I want to be. It's funny bc I always knew where I saw myself since an earlier age for myself, but I got stuck focusing on other people's problems and expectations of me that I took care of, instead of taking care of myself. But I understand how important it was for me to've been derailed, and take those lessons w me everyday. I've been slowly fixating my focus towards myself this year especially than others tho, so for that part, I'm grateful, but I wanna keep doing more. 

Do you have any irrational fears? What've ya done about them? 

hmm probably not because i consider marriage to honestly be a curse and something thats way too materialistic (at least in america, my parents never got married and they've been together 25+ years)

pre-recorded vocals basically means that the artist goes into the studio before the tour to record an alternate vocal take for the song and then play it on the show so that it seems like she's singing live because they're different from the album version and supposedly less polished. many pop artists do it, specially Beyoncé who tricks people into thinking she's singing 100% live all of her show but it's a lie.
 
imo it's only reasonable as I said if she's doing an exhausting dance routine, but she's not Normani or anything. I understand Detention and The Principal are lipped, but the rest? specially Show & Tell and Wheels On the Bus... the choreography is so simple.
 
whether it's a good or bad thing... that's up to you. I hate to say this but Mel's voice lately is sounding... rather rough, so the pre-recorded vocals sound better for me (funny thing is that they're supposed to sound more raw but on the K-12 tour some of them are way more autotuned that the album version perhaps because her voice is more damaged... eg: Drama Club, High School Sweethearts). I know singing is her passion but touring for 3 years straight + smoking everyday really fucked up her voice. she sounded so good from 2014 to mid-2015...
 
also the lip-sync is not supposed to be obvious but some transitions.... like in HSS where she sings the first half live and the second part is lipped, her voice sounds so different lmao
