The record is really lovely, and feels more introspective and special than NFR. Overall I appreciate the album is really pushing her boundaries and she is experimenting with things she hasn’t done before. The whispering vocals on White Dress, the autotune on Tulsa Jesus Freak, the choral patch in Yosemite, and the very long phrasing in Wild at Heart are the things that really jump out as ‘something new’. They’re hardly ground-breaking but combined with the demure sound she’s occupying they feel really fresh. I really appreicate it in her body of work. My favourites are White Dress, Chemtrails Over the Country Club, Not All Those Who Wander are Lost and Yosemite. The only thing I dislike about this album is the standard edition artwork, but there is the alt cover and hundreds of great fan edits to chose from.

The controls were people's #1 complaint about the game. They're essentially gone now. Now everyone can enjoy the game and also shut the fuck up and just play through it. It's NOT a bad game. The biggest disappoint is that Annie didn't get to ask about the covers album or about the poetry - actually before the interview started Annie said that Lana had a book of poetry "dropping soon" ?? . I assume whoever organised the interview would've provided her with some talking points hence Annie being totally caught off guard and being unsure how to navigate away from the racism defence, but the segue for this would've been her 2020 question, and then the only time music got brought up was when someone at that exact moment felt the need to interrupt the entire interview to fix a chimney.

I wish the video had cut to black and played this at the end.
