Imagine a Lana cinematic album. Good god.

I would love for her to go back to her surf noir vibes and have light and airy beats but have contrasting dark lyrics. I think it could be an absolutely mind blowing album if that materialized.

i dont think she was ever a junkie, but theres no doubt in my mind that she used drugs - probably more along the lines of weed/cocaine/ecstasy/lsd rather than any hardcore drugs

As much as I love BtD, I don't want to see Emile on Honeymoon. If WFL has teached us anything, then it is that he won't ever do something new with Lana. We would get the same stuff again, but this time it would get boring because it would show how Lana isn't progressing.
I like it if artists try out different styles during each era, you may not like one of them, but in the end it's much more fun this way. Different style doesn't have to mean different producer, but Emile seems to be stuck with this one style he produces.
 
I would love to see an album full of OTTR, YCBTB, Florida Kilos, Kill Kill, Hawaiian Tropic, In The Sun and Because Of You's. But if she REALLY goes for a jazz style this time, that would be intetesting too.

In the meantime

No deluxe in Lana's world means no Without You, no Black Beauty, no Florida Kilos, no Flipside

I don't have any particular opinion on Franco but, DAMN, do I relate to the idea that Lana created her own world to escape from the disappointment of this one.  That's basically what I have done all my life in my writing.

This is a nice read, hope the movie will happen. I really want her to play this woman, I'm curious about her acting. But even the idea is carried out the way she wants it and not her playing just writing etc. that would be still great.
 
On another note, am I the only one who thinks her SNL performance wasn't bad at all? Yeah it had some flaws but look at Iggy... She didn't have half of the backlash Lana received for months if not more than a year, yet everyone's forgotten Iggy's 'performance'.

At this point I strongly believe Lana is teasing us, she wants to drive this forum to it's doom with her early announcements and she's succeeding

This is obnoxious in a way that only a piece written by James Franco could be (no shade, I love him), but I think it's really sweet. He seems to really get her.

In short, you took a post both relevant to the thread's subject and respectful of all other opinions, and replied with a rude statement about something entirely subjective.
 
I was offended by your insinuation that an album I liked was bad, especially considering the inappropriate venue you choose to express this opinion (this is the HONEYMOON thread)
And so I replied by saying that as someone that likes that LP I thought your post was annoying and irrelevant. I was hoping that the discussion would end there. Apparently you're too stubborn to admit that as the individual that instigated this irrelevant discussion it's your responsibility to acknowledge what you said was offensive and unnecessary.
 
Surprisingly enough, I'm a fan of BTD too, I was a member of this forum before UV came out, I just prefer UV because I find it a more consistent record. I didn't feel the need to mention my opinion in this thread until you started spouting off about how UV was a bad album. In the context of this thread this makes as much sense as me mentioning my aversion to Lady GaGa. More then that, it's like me saying that Lady GaGa is a bad artist and that her music is tasteless when I'm aware there are many fans of her music reading this thread right now.

OK. Huge difference between "UV is an amazing quality piece of work! :)" and directly responding to someone who's pleasantly appreciating something they love w a "UV has no quality"

No one who's praising the album needs to be preached to because they're simply appreciating something they like. The problem was that someone was simply talking about an album they like and you made an ugly rude response to them basically saying it's trash, and then bitching at anyone who called you out by saying they're not letting you speak your mind. Yet you were the first person criticizing someone for giving THEIR opinion on UV.
