  3. yes, and the fact that this is an unpopular opinion will never not shock / appall me. that song is one of the best things she's ever done.
  4. just a thought - could this Bill be part of a comparison or metaphor, and not the same person she's alluding to in the rest of the song? i'll explain what i mean: i see you for who you really are // why the thousands of girls love the way Bill plays guitar i'm basically dividing this in 2 parts - in the first one she refers to mystery man (it's Barrie, lbr) & in the second she would be equating how she sees him / how he makes her feel to the way these presumably adoring fans feel when they see or hear Bill play guitar. essentially, "you make me feel like a 60s teenybopper". of course my little theory would be a lot more likely if Bill clearly referred to some virtuoso guitarist, but to be honest i don't really see who she could be talking about...
  5. i interpret "dance underneath my architecture" pretty literally, to be honest. from the Billboard mag interview, which that line immediately made me think of: i kinda think she's simply referring to one of her design houses (a lower floor, or outside directly beneath a part of the house), either this or the Malibu one.
  6. Love disappointed me, but this song is everything i could've ever hoped for - Cruel World all over again, in a way. can't wait for the album.
  7. random af, but i really like her accent. how she clearly enunciates every single syllable / letter, it just sounds sf classy.
  8. saw this today. very good film with a stunning cinematography & an amazing soundtrack! i really liked the realistic, non-fairytale-but-still-uplifting ending, and all the magical realism and symbolism! though i'm still not quite sure what Wilder's deal was: was he gay but not out yet, bi/pan, just a good friend? regardless, i loved it when he went to grab the bottle of water for Oscar when he realized he was on X, it was heartwarming and showed he truly cared about him. aaaah, i'm getting mushy now. (also: can't believe a pet hamster nearly made me cry, lol) anyway, Stephen Dunn should have thanked Xavier Dolan seeeeveral times in the credits. like, he even cast a Schneider!
  9. well, this sure gives a whole new meaning to the LDR aesthetic in this movie
  10. i've said this before & i'll repeat it forever until this collab happens : Mark Lanegan. their voices would be perfect together, their song themes fit + i know she's a huge fan of his & unless things have recently changed they've been following each other for the longest time on twitter, so... make this happen, @@god.

@Sucker sorry for going a bit OT in this thread, but since it's also about a norwegian artist - did you listen to Emma Jensen's Closer? i think it was released 2 days ago. i'm completely obsessed with that song, it's so chill
  12. yes, they've always been. black beauty has grown on me somewhat, but bel air is the only song i'll ALWAYS skip, i can't stand it.
  13. i'm deeply unimpressed with this song, to be perfectly honest. hopefully it'll grow on me, because i think this is the least impressed / interested i've ever been in a Lana song on a first listen (maybe on par with Bel Air & Black Beauty, which are probably my least favorite songs of hers).
  14. i'll be sure to thank god for your eyesight in tonight's prayer.
  15. but who's the dude? it's not Rocky, is it? (forgive my shameless wishful thinking)

i just want a full album soon. or an EP, at the very least. (it's a separate music project, i don't see why this should be merged tbh)
