Not surprising from someone who doesn't know her own birth year either. -

A modern-day version of this would be really beautiful and appropriate, IMO:
Or something like these fan art pieces by Miss America:

The cover and tracklist for TPE were released on September 24th (http://www.idolator.com/6936192/lana-del-rey-born-to-die-paradise-edition-tracklist-cover-artwork) and the album itself was released on November 9th.
BTD's artwork was revealed on December 11th and the album was released on January 30th, (http://hypetrak.com/2011/12/lana-del-rey-born-to-die-album-cover/). The tracklist, however, wasn't revealed until much closer to the release date: http://www.pastemagazine.com/articles/2012/01/lana-del-rey-born-to-die-tracklist.html

The fact that she is lurking around in social media thrills me and terrifies me at the same time. I bet she would call me a cunt or a little bitch...

Lana used to drive an old Mercedes that had a similar box shape...it's very reminiscent of retro-America. And Ford is about American as you can get.

I was always under the impression that the shift from "Ray" to "Rey" was inspired by the Ford Del Rey and how it represented retro-Americana. "Rey" also has a Spanish root, which Lana found to be glamorous-sounding.

UV is gonna be Rock/Independent-influenced, mixed with orchestral and cinematic sounds as well as some experimental hip-hop elements, I think.

I can't help but disagree. She has a really interesting timbre in her upper register and lower register. It's the mix of both that's so alluring to me. -

ColdPlay is god, jesus and a bunch of saints in music form. I fucking love them to death. I got to 2 concerts and the one in Rock in Rio was the single fucking best concert I got into my life. I can't even describe my love without cursing like a saylor. I get fucking eargasms with Fix you, Viva La Vida, Violet Hill, Talk, Yellow, Trouble, Politik and The Scientist.
All their albuns are amazing and I have all of them. But A Rush of Blood to The Head is a masterpiece and The Scientist is one of my favorite songs of all times. I will listen to Them until the day I die and if they allow Ipod's in Purgatory I will listen to them when I am dead as well

I keep envisioning UV as sounding like Fleetwood Mac meets Chelsea Wolfe meets later-era Talk Talk
