Pre-Pre-Release Threads are typically created once there's an indication than an album is in the works! According to her recent MusicWeek interview, there's one (maybe even two) in the works! Usually this doesn't happen so quickly (except for NFR) but because there is indication and another Pre-Pre-Release thread was highly requested, it will arrive in an hour or two so everyone can have fun in this thread for awhile. Pre-Release Threads come once there's a confirmed title or release date, which could be awhile.
& I can't wait to show you all the new theme! There's a few things I need to adjust and I'm waiting on my design partners to wake up to help me skkkk. But I think you guys will really love it! I'm already using it on my account and.. it's so pretty 

Honestly I'm not worried because I remember that when the Paradise teaser was released on youtube everyone was talking about how embarrassing the lyrics were, and exactly the same thing happened with UV, but both Paradise and UV turned out to be really great albums. These lyrics aren't that amazing but they are definitely not Lana's worst and it's not fair to judge a song based on it's lyrics alone. The lyrics are only like 1/4 of a song and melody, vocals and production are just as important.
Personally I think the imagery is really beautiful, and I'm pretty sure that if these lyrics came from a Lizzy Grant acoustic laptop demo everyone would be praising them. But as I said earlier I think she really wanted a title track so she tried forcing the Honeymoon theme into one song, just like with UV (song).

I don't think this is an unpopular opinion. The production on the album version is a tragedy imo.

I'm moving to Tokyo on the 20th and I've lived in Denmark my whole life so Japan will probably be quite a change from what I'm used to. I have a feeling that Magdalene will be the perfect soundtrack to all the new things that I'll experience.

WTF... two of the best parts of the album... honey those BELLS are a COLD WINTER’S NIGHT. It’s SNOWING outside, you’re sitting ALONE in your comfy living room recliner drinking HOT TEA & reminiscing about the PAST.... it’s a MAGICAL SLEIGH RIDE into NOSTALGIA... I’m officially convinced that everyone hating on the bells is deaf & hates the holidays, winter, & happiness. It’s just the truth.

these lyrics & her vocal performance in the studio & all the cute + gorgeous instruments come together so beautifully. It really reminds me of the 60s & Phil Spector’s wall Of sound, big, blow-out-your-speaker vibes during the bridge before the final verse.
One of the shorter songs on NFR yet it still has a beginning, middle, & end. Instant classic in her discography as far as I’m concerned!!! The live piano version was very pretty but I think the studio final is mesmerizing & Wintery & beautifulllll. It sounds like a wedding song idk, also reminds me of some Beach House songs. But the strings in the intro + throughout are classic Lana. They are like a matured BTD vibe, the strings are my favorite. & the jingle bells are so cute idgaf what anybody says
