A dark electronica song with a lot of reverb that ends with a long instrumental outro that hits you so hard you want to cry (think something like the outro to Sufjan Stevens’ drawn to the blood or should have known better)

charli originally wanted her second album to go in a more punk direction (on my tracker we have the more punk-ish songs designated as "Sucker V1") but i think atlantic was like "you should be a pop girlie :)" and thats why we have songs like doing it and boom clap and right next to songs like london queen and the title track
i dont think my tracker is 100% accurate but we sort by era rather than by year, so here it is. (also here it is again in the form of an interactive website with a streaming player function. the spreadsheet has a bit more information though, so i always recommend using both)

so what is everyone’s “fall charli album”? mine is probably self titled 

Kim might be doing it and Bonnie might be doing it and Addison might be doing it but Charli won't out of respect for SOPHIE. Just saying.

Okay I thought the album was mindblowing but I was still waiting for it to emotionally click with me... and it did last night omg we were smoking weed with my boyfriend, sitting on the couch, discussing Eartheater's career and then put on the album while reading the lyrics. DAMN. She made such a detailed, immersive sonic experience with this album; like she always does, but I feel like this one requires even more attention due to ALL the details. Her voice is just phenomenal and addictive, she's genuine and her lyrics are genius. The fact that she's a grown woman (she's 34) helps a lot in the confidence and sensuality she emanates. Her music is hypnotizing, she's a swamp mermaid. I'm in love with what she gave us with this album... the psychedelic and textured trip hop to all the amazing work with beats, percussion and SFX... the fucking strings and wind instuments... the mixing benefiting all the low frequencies... An absolute piece of art.

This made me tear up, because this truly was fate. If the Olive Garden didn’t have bad reviews, we would’ve gone there instead of the Carrabba’s next to the Dillard’s. If I hadn’t forgotten my shoes, we wouldn’t have even gone inside of the Dillard’s. If I didn’t turn around at the last second to grab the bracelet, I wouldn’t have been able to give it to her for her to then wear at the show the next day. 
Another friend told me about a month ago that every “wrong turn” is actually meant to happen and it’s so true. I’ve always believed that nothing happens by mistake.. and this just proves that.
This whole experience was truly magical. The stars really did align for me, and I feel so lucky x

The most magical aspect of this story is all of coincidences and circumstances it took for you to meet her. It’s truly unbelievable. 
 
I think the way you went back to get the bracelet is the moment that this energy was sent to universe that you were destined to see her.
