As several people have pointed out, it's as if she's trying too hard to cater to her audience, which is mostly teenagers and 20-somethings.
 
Maybe she thinks we all enjoy chaotic, disorganised outdoor shows with Taylor Swift-ish dancers 'n' shit?
 
I'm in my 20s and I definitely don't. I would sell my kidney to attend a nice, calm indoor show like the Apple one.

July 2 is an approximation I guess. But within two weeks, we’ll surely get something.
She has a show tonight and another one on July 6. I don’t expect a date on either one of them (anyways, weren’t both UV and HM’s release dates given in shows but then got postponed?), but maybe a new song? Or a snippet of one?

Literally when I looked last night, 90% of the comments were from people asking about the song. Only a handful of people seemed to give a fuck about the movie itself.

Well at least we know why the albums taken so long. With the movie song getting massive promo once it drops shes obviously taking advantage of the free public promo.

I feel like people will forget about this song quickly. From the snippet in the trailer, it just sounds like a generic pop song unfortunately

They probably used more of Ariana's vocals because she's the lead singer in this. Also since she has a larger fanbase, it would work as a better promotion for the movie
