  1. So considering Mojo’s 100 NFR score and Chemtrails 80 score I’m hoping this album falls in around an 83-84. I don’t expect the insane praise NFR got, though I do think I’ll personally enjoy this album more than that. I’m just hoping, on an artistry level, that’s she’s gained enough traction from the last record to maintain great scores. A handful of critics around NFR claimed that her previous records were underrated and if it’s on the same level as those I’m hoping they at least score it like they should have scored her earlier stuff.
  2. Eclipse insinuated it is the same song, though I had thought@Eclipse mentioned only having heard White Dress apart from the singles, so I don’t know if they are 100 percent sure. Would love to be proven wrong thooooo
  3. my favorite way to listen to a new album! I usually get home from work, smoke a bowl, and then when midnight hits I get lost in whatever record I am excited to listen to

    Taylor Swift

So I have not ever given Taylor a second of time time till Folklore/Evermore (apart from a brief obsession with Love Story back in the day), and her announcement about the Fearless re-recording had me curious to listen to the original record and I gotta say... I can’t even get past the first 3 tracks because I love them so much. I can listen to the song Fearless over and over and I don’t get tired of it. Being a teen and being so in wonder about love is such a pure feeling. It’s hard for these songs to not hit even harder when you’re older and understand more. Fifteen is so nostalgic. It was pretty much the only other Taylor song I liked back then and I haven’t heard it since those days. And then of course Love Song. Honestly I might have to do a Taylor deep dive and listen to everything and see how I feel about it because these songs make me so cheerful. Update: forever and for always! So good.
  5. this just goes to show that when she described this record as being “Country” and everyone here near tore up their stan cards it was unwarranted. I feel like I understand the qualities in those songs that make her view them as being “Country”, but I still wouldn’t call either of those songs “Country” myself.
  6. Honestly a pretty great article! And so glad it mentions her recent controversies without her adding another one to them. Lol
  7. @plastiscguy’s dads computer, fine and unbothered while Lanaboards is losing it holding its funeral:
  8. Here I thought we’d be reading a new interview today but all that happened was crackheads obsessing over a fake password protected zip folder. (Much love to all u crackheads tho)
  9. So.... can someone leak it we’ve moved on from the pics and we are ready for her THOUGHTS
  10. Yassssss, forever here for this fucked up bitch
  11. Yeah, I don’t love these pics. The cover is cute, though! I’m also in the minority that doesn’t really care about photo shoots and stuff so I’m not too bothered that I don’t really like them. I’m more excited to see what this interview says!
  12. the new weather station album is so good and this is one of my favorites from it <3
  13. It’s cute n pretty but it’s hardly there if that makes sense. There isn’t a lot of songwriting here. I listened to it 3 times in a row on my way to work cuz it’s more backgroundy and vibey than something that grabs my attention and commands it. This must be the new song she was teasing but by the way she phrased it I expected more. I’m not sure this is even part of her new record.

The new song is good but I can hardly understand a single word she sings lol edit: ok I listened again and it’s not that serious, though I do wish her voice was a littleeeee bit more forward in the mix. I’m
  15. Promising Young Woman. it’s a pretty good blend of genres with some significantly tense moments. The true gag is the soundtrack which features boys by charli xcx, stars are blind by Paris Hilton, and the boat lullaby from the classic, night of the hunter. Definitely worth checking out for fans of thrillers or if even say an adventurous rom com viewer.
  16. Just saw that target listed the alt cover. I bought the box set from Lana’s site, and then I got an alt vinyl and cd from target.
  17. The transition between her glamorous, peaceful life to her being a werewolf with her girlfriend pack is clearly meant to represent the idea that even though she’s going to farmers markets, chatting over matcha lattes, and going to the kids swimming pool, she and her girls as wild as they have ever been. That’s what lurks beneath the surface that we all see. The Chemtrails are the problems of the world that she observes from her safe space, and they are what being out that wild side in her. I think the video is pretty spot on as far as conveying the message of the song. my favorite shot from the whole thing is when they go from showing the statuette with her head resting against her hand to the little girl mimicking it and resting her head on her hand. Something very striking about that
  18. The hmv cover..... I need that. It’s her best cover lol
  19. She looks so good in that pic damn
