Fenne Lily She’s such a beautiful artist! Her recent album Breach is totally stunning and gorgeously produced. Her debut was a low key fav of mine two years ago and this is likely gonna end up in my top albums this year. The sweeping strings, the layered harmonies, and the ambiance; it’s all so beautifully warm. anyone else listen to her? Where my sad girls at?

If throwing the cd didn’t work they could just try playing a few songs from it and seeing if that kills the spider, they nearly did me in. (I kid I kid)

If it’s anything like where I’m at in the US, you can take em off once you sit down to eat/drink, and you have to put them on when you’re up and about in an establishment. I work in a restaurant and people are always getting up without them on to take pictures or go to the bathroom and I usually have to stop them and tell them to put them back on.

Paradise: cola has never moved me and I never really listen to it voluntarily UV: Sometimes I still get confused between sad girl and pretty when I cry. The fact they are right next to each other on the tracklist bothers me. HM: I actually really like her version of please don’t let me be misunderstood. She’s cute. LfL: I don’t seem to dislike it as much as everyone else. I get that it’s not her most cohesive artistic statement but it has some damn good songs on it. Love, 13 Beaches, Summer Bummer, Groupie Love, Heroin, God Bless..., Get Free. The strength those songs have. NFR: I love her vocals. Her whispery high voice is so beautiful to me. The last few lines of hope are so stunning. COCC: unpopular opinion but I hate how it doesn’t exist

Idc for 24 hours or swan song. Blackest day is good but not one of her essentials imo, and Salvatore is fine. The second half of honeymoon isn’t it for me, and I know most people love it (I love the whole thing up to Salvatore tho). It’s not to say it isn’t good, it just isn’t the Lana stuff that moves me.

Fenne Lily’s Breach comes out this Friday and I’m stoked. Her first record was a bit by the books but I absolutely loved it anyways. The singles off the new one are good, but they don’t blow me away, however the 2 singles she released before the album was announced (hypochondriac and to be a woman pt 2, I assume they were songs that didn’t make the cut) are both excellent and since they are from the same sessions I expect good things from the album tracks.

Sugar is my favorite of the 3, but America has grown on me immensely. I’m ready for my soothing moody RnB sufjan album. Apparently Janet Jackson was a bit inspiration for the record.

Omg I’m dying for another album by her it feels like it’s been an ETERNITY. I’ll never forget me n my friend driving around at 1am listening to the 10 love songs leak in my car. The first time I heard Kamikaze I was in AWE. An amazing pop record and honestly one of the best in recent history, it’s slept on! I like all her albums tho! The brothel is my go to Halloween time album. Silicone veil is what got me into her. Music for people in trouble is a great listen stoned. Her self titled is cute and has some really catchy tunes.

I don’t think the police would take that very seriously, let’s be real. They aren’t known for their good judgement anyways.

I have a secret... I love caught I have loved her ever since I heard cosmic love back in the day, but I agree that HBHBHB is for now her masterpiece. I remember when the first teaser came out for that, the one where she dances with herself with that bursting horn section playing, that was one of the most satisfying introductions to an era ever. I love the whole collection of music videos from it as well. St. Judes is so soft and pretty and Queen of Peace gives me the DRAMA with that choreo. her movie songs (and game songs) are so fking good too.

Punisher has stuck with me. I’m really digging Phoebe this year.

It’s a good video! Definitely wish it was more centered on the actual song, but the choreo is rad as hell and it’s still incredibly beautiful music.

All rivers at once is SERVING me it’s giving me a little Joanna Newsom with the piano and fiddle. The arrangements on this record are so stunning.
