Honestly the cover and title are serving me. The fact that Aaron Dessner snd Bon Iver are involved are also piquing my interest. I like 1989 and then didn’t care at all for any of the singles from reputation or lover, but I’ll give this a try. The aesthetic is beautiful.

I just want a preorder and tracklist. I don’t want snippets at all. If I hear anything I want like one full song. I hate hearing a small portion of a song and imagining the rest only to be let down because the real thing isn’t what I wanted or expected. Let the album be like 12 tracks. Release one before, save the rest for release.

I want lana to play the horn again

I’ve given up hope for real strings ages ago. I’m a slut for piano though, so gimme some more piano ballads please. I definitely don’t want a record full of only piano ballads, but I’d like at least one.

Idk the fandoms thoughts on this, but I think Heroin is one of her most beautiful songs (maybe her best vocal performance on an album track on the verses and chorus, the lullaby like quality, the instrumental), but then the bridge and outro almost ruin the song for me. When she sings “It’s hot... etc” she sounds like a crow cawing. I get that it maybe it’s a stylistic choice that everything is cool and super mellow and then there is such an immediate harsh contrast, but I think it’s ugly.
