I am entranced with "Girl Feels Good" and "Sticky" they make me want to be in a club with beautiful sweaty strangers at 3 in the morning - the entire album so far is gorgeous, im kinda shook.
I actually like "Childlike Things" but I probably won't be listening to It (its a skip but I do like it and could see it going viral)
"Striptease" got me twerking in my chair as I listen to it - like I want to be in the CLUB right now omg this song is so good I can feel the sensuality with each beat
"Wanderlust" was the perfect closure for the album - it feels like a sad goodbye to the evening and it feels like the light is entering the room as we all go home from the night ugh it makes me sad cause it feels like when you have An Electric beautiful fun night and you dont want it to end but it ends and you are thinking in the moment how special it is and how it may or may not happen again ugh okay wow
album is 9/10 for me.

The album is good. I just wish she hadn’t previewed so much of it so long ago - it makes a first listen so much less impactful imo.
I like the Japanese in Childlike Things, it’s a cute track but not sure yet if ill keep it on my playlist, well see. And while i have no idea why North South or whatever is on it, if we didn’t know she was on it you would never be able to tell tbh.
Striptease is my favourite.
Sticky is a close second. Based on descriptions i honestly thought this would be mid, but it’s amazing.
Love 24 Hour Dog and Drums of Death.
The rest of the album is good to decent.
Keep It Hold It gives me Kate Bush vibes. I like the Madonna/William Orbit feel of Fools and Feel Good.
Wanderlust is the weakest - for now. I’m sure the album will grow on me more.

It’s weird cuz I’ve heard 4 songs, 3 are amazing and one is a very cute girl, but now I’m nervous this will be her first dip in quality based on the lack of reviews and also North West randomly being there

Anohni is one of those artists who will forever be remembered as one of the greats, no matter her commercial success.
I’ve adored her since I first heard Hope There’s Someone, everything she sings feels like she’s on my exact wavelength but in reality she just sings about the human experience.
I’ve always wondered if using Naomi for DBM was intentionally contradictory, given Naomi’s controversies (eg blood diamonds), or it was just for the obvious.
