I connected the "watery grave" and "boat to Catalina" statements and twisted them into her wanting to throw herself off the side of the boat, but I'm fucked up, so ...

You would think that if she drops a song anytime soon, it'd be accompanied by some sort of statement about the album ... possibly even the release date. Like, if I know the album is 100% coming soon after the song then I will stream the fuck out of the song because I'm a fucking sucker with no self-control
 
It'd be weird to just go, "here's a song, bitches" and not say anything else although that's absolutely something she would do
 
I'm still hopeful that the pastel chalk, Malibu beach and the pretty meadow from the makeup artist's stories had something to do with an album trailer or MV.

Well, I think she's taking surfing lessons. Going by her driving, she'll probably paddle into a current, end up in Japan, never leave Japan because it's the home of matcha, and we'll never get NFR, just a J-Pop album in 2022.

I worry about that, too. I remember her saying that the book is something that she just wants out there for herself, which suggests that she doesn't really care what critics and/or fans think of it, but I don't know. She's demonstrated that she's very sensitive towards criticism, most recently when she seemed pretty upset about people alleging that Hope had racial connotations.
 
It makes me wonder how she will react if the reception isn't positive.

I had this really unfortunate thought, and that is, she's probably not going to change her setlist much even after NFR is released, because she loves those dancers, and the dancers don't dance during MAC or VB, and they likely won't dance during any of the other piano ballads which comprise that album, either, so we're fucked, totally fucked, and I think this is the longest sentence I've ever typed.

She sneakily did two Poland posts and her feed is balanced which means now she won't post anything for weeks.
