Is she trying to cover up her boring sound with "explict" videos? lel.
-
I have to say FWMs concept is far more interesting than almost everything on her first album, maybe apart from the title track

A lot of stuff around here is a bit of ... reaching, BtD definitly fueld the retro stuff, I remember multiple fashion magazines and commercials using her style. This one for example But not everything involving home.made content or anything retro is influenced by Lana. And if artists sound alike, this CAN be because one is an inspiration for another, it can be coincidence aswell. And please guys ... just because Lana uses some words as lyrics, it does not mean that everyone else using them is influenced by her. Same thing with Lolita references, sugar daddies etc

Caro Emerald ("A Night Like This") also stated multiple times that Lana is an influence

Most overrated Horror Movie Franchiseright now The Conjuring one was extremely mediocre in my opinion. A lot of clichees, yet not even scary in a "yeah, I expected it and it's still creepy" scene. Don't know why people made such a fuss about it. Most of these "home horror" things have been executed much better before, the stor ydid not even try to be more than lame and after some parts where you thought it MIGHT at least be entertaining it turned into complete boringness with all this "posession" stuff. No atmosphere, no interesting characters, no creative setting, no spooky scenes. The Conjuring 2 was ok, but still ... hm. Not something I'd want to watch more than onetime, and not because it creeped the hell out of me ... Insidious 1 did it better.

Ok, now you're getting offensive. Do you really want suggest I don't know how to write "everyone"? Bye.

he's right, though. -
THIS! She constantly whines about people in her songs, but can't handle the fire herself.

Them smexy vocals

Vegas is a nice start up for the EP, really feeling the layering.Big Boi is extremely playful and dark at the same time somehow. Pull Up is nice and cute. Thinking Of U serves almost-Pride-vibes. However, the song sticking out most is Crybaby, definitly a great single choice. The rest of the EP is great but if it would be an album I don't know if it would get a bit stale. BLQ was a bit more diversive as an EP, but in the end, I love Princess as much as her other projects

It's nice but ... hm. Nothing too spectacular in my opinion.

So ... will we get a professionally recorded version of this? -
Private Show (the snippets from the commercial BTS) sounds a bit meh .. Excited for Make Me though, haven't heard any of it so far, don't know where y'all get your information from x)
-
Do we have a release date for the song?
-
If she really meant that as a shade, that would be extremely childish, I don't think she would do it.

"Black Coffee" by Sarah Vaughan, covered by Elsa Fitzgerald and Peggy Lee later. The lyrics are soooo Lana and I could really imagine her doing a great interpretation of it. "Lover Man" by Billie Holiday, again great Lana-esque lyrics and i could imagine Lanas voice would sound delicious with this vocal melody

Critisizing a weak spot of an artist you like does not make you less of a fan. Just because you like an artist, that does not mean you have to love everything they do. I remember my Lana concert back in 2013, it was really great but I also thought that it would definitly be boring for anyone who's not a big fan. Yeah, it's a Lana forum, but that does not mean we have to constantly praise her for everything

01. Mermaid Motel 02. Kill Kill 03. Gramma 04. Brite Lites 05. Queen Of The Gas Station 06. For K. Part 2 07. Put Me In A Movie 08. Raise Me Up 09. Yayo 10. Oh Say Can You See 11. Smarty 12. Jump 13. Pawn Shop Blues REALLY hard to rank, I'm desperate Jump and Smarty take such a low places but ... well, whatever. I guess the most accurate ranking I could do. Amazing how many people dislike Gramma, I really love it.
