It's kind of obvious the main interest of this project is not to become a big conventional popstar and I'm not even sure if the music is actually in the focus or more like a necessary part of this Illuminati-Pop Industry parody Not that I wouldn't like some new music but keep posts like this for stars like Dua Lipa

Pretty sure there's something coming soon
  3. God, I wonder if y'all always look your best when you go to the mall. And if you look great on every f*cking pic that is taken whenever you're not even looking. Let the poor woman live

I really love Fuck With Myself, it's so dark and sinister and I like the unconventional song concept. Gemini Feed is a masterpiece, the instrumentak is beautiful, the build up during the verse is great and the chorus is heavenly. Lovesick is the suprise-sobg on this album for me, I did not expect it to be that good. I love how it's so .. well, lovesick but still manages to keep up a warm feeling. Judas is so sexy, dark and atmospheric and To The Hilt is the first Banks piano-ballad I really "feel". 27 Hours is pretty nice but veeery dramatic. The rest of the album is ok but nothing I feel the need to listen to too often. Some tracks are cute but don't really go anywhere (Not About Us, Mother Earth, Weaker Girl) and I still think Poltergeist and Mind Games have much more potential that could have been used. My least favourite tracks are Haunt (I like the production with the tropical sounds but the song itself is meh) and Trainwreck (it has it's moments but it feels so messy and all over the place). I still prefer Altar over Goddess, it's much more diverse and I prefer the atmosphere and production. Goddess was a bit stale and lacked sone "power spikes" between all the soft atmospheric tracks (apart from Begging For Thread).
  5. Saying UV could have been a hit is delusional ... And Freak's not even a single it just got a video. Brooklyn Baby could have scored if it was released as a single (with a radio cut), HBTB could have done better if it would have been promoted better and maybe MTWBT could have at least been successfull on smaller/alternative radios

I actually prefer The Altar over Goddess. Goddess has songs that feel "deeper" but it's also a quite stale album with few variations in the sound. The Altar feels much more dynamic.
  7. This is really good! Really some kind of "classic" canpfire song Listened to WR again lately and I still can't figure out why the masterpiece that is "The Only" was only aviable in such a limited way ... and then we have "Made You Move" as an Itunes exclusive, which is super meh.
  8. Still not over him thinking he's " basically the man in Lana's songs" ... I doubt she sings of tame boys with castrato voices andSideshow Bob's haircut

Fuck With Myself and Gemini Feed are still the highlight of the album, I'm not really sure how I feel about the acoustic intro for GF. It's nice but I think the song had more power without it and it's a strange way to open an album. My favourite "new song" is Lovesick, I really really like it. Trainwreck is better than I expected it to be from the snippet, Judas is good as expected and To The Hilt has really grown on me, it's a great closer aswell. Mind Games is also sounding much better within the context of the album. Not sure about Poltergeist, I think it could need a bit more spice during the chorus. From my first listens I felt like the build up was nice but there was no sufficient follow up. Not About Us is nice and I guess Weaker Girl might grow on me, it's pretty nice yet nothing that actually overwhelmed me. I don't really get all the hype about Mother Earth, I think it's nice but not too outstanding and it falls off really quick. Not feeling Haunt that much aswell, but maybe it will grow on me. Generally, I like ALTAR more than Goddess, it's a bit more diverse. Looking forward to 27hours, sounded like a promising track. ______________ I guess noone will really care because Altar is just about to be dropped, but if you stan BANKS I think you should definitly check out DIllon's album "The Unknown", it might appeal to you.
  10. This sounds super cringeworthy tbh
  11. None. Nina is great but not an artist whose songs particularly fit Lanas voice nor are tgey that interesting when they are not performed by Nina. TOW was great but DLMBM was already tok much. If Lana wants to continue to do retro stuff she should do Billie Holiday covers

Is any song somewhat similar to Gemini Feed concerning the quality and "dancability"?

Are y'all fucking serious? I said what I think about the snippets, unlike a lot of people here I did not black-or-white-bashed anything as "shit" and y'all react like this? Grow up, srsly

Ok, I'll stop, seems like expressing opinions about snippets is only allowed if it's OH YAS QUEEN OMG BEST ABLOOM OF THA CENTURY.

Don't know why you think you need to be salty, but I did in fact not judge anything. But the snippets don't really appeal to me so far. I enjoy FMW and GF a lot because they seemed to take a different direction than her debut, but the snippets make it seem like this will not continue for the rest of the CD, a lot of this soft-sound songs and ballads. Not that this would be a bad thing but the first two singles made me hope for something else. Easy as that. But please go on and be "snarky and sassy"

Meh, I had such high hopes ... the tracks are nice but the albums drive seems to instantly fall off after the second track

  21. Yeah, BBB or Summerboy could be pre-BTD unreleased songs Yeah, the use of the word "Moon" is just soooooooo Lana ... ----------------------------- Bitter:Sweet's song "Drama" sounds a bit like a Lana song. Especially the bridge and the last chorus. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4Pgw5MUHeJA
  22. Why do magazines even care for an artist that hasn't released for such a long time and seemingly won't anytime soon? I don't really want Guardian as a studio version now, I'd prefer a completely new track
  23. Really love the EP! "The deer ot the hunter" is my favourite track, she's a really promising artist!
