I get what you mean. Specially the transition to the pre-chorus, and the use of the guitar on it. Reminds me a lot of the most delicate pieces done by John Frusciante, as Venice Bitch already did. 
 
This one -mix of the original Bowie's song in which Frusciante collaborated- is, i think, a good example of the echoes of his work on Lana's new sound.

Made up a setlist for the NFR! tour. Tried to include a good balance of all the albums, with particular emphasis on NFR. Split into three "acts" that have songs that work well together thematically/sonically. Each of the acts is named after a 20th century California-set film that relates to the songs (e.g. The Endless Summer is a 1966 surf film). / = medley

so i got news from interscope and they said that lana is canceling the release of NFR! and giving only one physical copy to w*n edw*rds instead. he refuses to leak it. so sadly, we will never hear the album.
