Am I the only one who dislikes the UO cover? I like the frame with her name and the title, but I don't think the photo is that suitable for an album cover.

I'm not directing this towards you specifically, just using your post as an example. I think people use the word "boring" far too loosely when describing music. I genuinely don't know what people refer to when they say "boring" because the meaning differs so much from person to person. I guess when people describe the songs Honeymoon and TLY as boring they mean "slow songs with minimalist production" or something similar, a type of music that rarely bores me. If I were to pick the songs that bore me the most right now it would probably be Cheerleader and Love Me Like You Do, but obviously a lot of people don't find those songs boring at all.
 
Of course some songs can be percieved as boring in some situations and not at all in other situations. For example, I think most people would agree that even if you love TLY you would be kinda bored by it while working out or on your way to a party. But switch these situations to a late night bus trip or watching the sun rise from your porch and it would serve you life on a gold plate.
 
Long story short: can we stop dismissing songs simply as "boring" without any elaboration? k thanks 

I have a theory. I've also been drinking tonight, but I still have a theory. The reason Honeymoon isn't up with the pre-order or streaming anywhere or existing in anyplace but you tube is because it's not the same Honeymoon on the album. Maybe the words or the mix are different, but in true lynchian  fashion, she's playing mind games with us and steering us the wrong way.

I don't know where else to write this, but I've been here for a couple of months and I've noticed how many pretentious people there seem to be here, and people are always trying to connect Lana's inspirations to something from the past, oftentimes so irrelevant to her music and to what she writes about. Can't wait until someone claims that she's written a song about the diary entries of a Nazi officer or something

I like AKA better than BTD. I also really love all the songs off Honeymoon so far. 

I'm not that happy with the cover either but you overreact so much lmao.

Cry Baby is a grower song but Mad Hatter is still so flat and doesn't fit the ending of the first cry baby book whatsoever. If she ended it with Tag, You're It or even Milk and Cookies it would've been fine.

I rarely listen to Born to Die tbh, Ultraviolence is so much better

To me her best album is still AKA, the lizzy days are my fav, but im feeling that maybe HM is going to take that spot. Loving it so far (besides that horrendous cover)

AKA and UV are so good, and BTD was like yeah is good, but i didn't like the tracklist that much

It's gonna be so hard to wait til November to get the box set in my greedy hands but I'm excited nonetheless, of course!
