the majority of the stans are not that fan of this album bc is pretty much safe and Gaga is always bringing something different to the table (she doesnt need to be groundbreaking everytime but) it was her return to pop music after years of side projects and she came up with cheap radio music like… shes better than that. The visuals were amazing, album cover is amazing, the booklet is breathtaking, but the music 

 at the end of the day she just needs to drop Bloodpop 
ps: of course there a few gems in there but only a few. 

so I've been listening and bopping to Beutiful, Dirty, Rich since 2010 but only NOW I realized that funky bass in it exists wtf

Like, you got an alt lazy girl that even without an album for 10 years still have a strong respect by the critics and a big fanbase, it would not sell like Thriller of course, but it would have a very satisfactory performance I think

While the official tracklist does feel somewhat wonky at times, I tried rearranging it but it feels less enjoyable than the original.
Well, she confirmed the deluxe more than once and iirc some insider said the deluxe actually exists and the 6 songs are really good. Hopefully it comes out soon!

I've been repeating the album very often despite being listening to it since it leaked in shitty quality. Whew, it's just so fun  
While my least favourite remains Get Outta My Heart (sample is tacky), I think my top 3 remains Turn Off the Lights, Diamonds & Dancefloors and Last Night on Earth  
This is so true. So Am I is the only song I really hate from her. Anything else she's released I either like or genuinely enjoy

Taste Of My Own being the Win Some, Lose Some of this era 

in alternative universe electra heart was topping all international charts and critics praised it so marina did not have a nervous breakdown, became an international alt pop star, and never gave up on her artistry. i said what i said

what I hate about new america is ‘stars are shining for you’ is a cute lyric and I wish she based the song about that 
 
alternatively, I also think (taken out of context): ‘Everything that made you great only made you bad’ / ‘I know that you had big dreams, that you had big plans’ / ‘You can't bury the truth, It's time to pay your dues’ / ‘You've been in pain for a while. You can't hide your secrets, we can see’
 
could have been turned into a different song, maybe about some mythological figure, a well meaning hero that fucked up y’know an ancient dream in a modern land…

yes this song is so badly written. i imagine some potential in that alternative title tho with better lyrics. most ideas in l+f are practically ill-executed, esp. to be human. not that new america is any better... unfortunately

iirc some insider (can't remember who) said the deluxe is real and the bonus tracks are really good.

I thought NODFL was added for streaming boost purposes
