my favorite lyrics from each track <3

kill kill: love you, i do, stay here, i won't, the stars fade from your eyes
queen of the gas station: look at your smokin' in them neon lights, under the thunder, yo, you look so nice
oh say can you see: the sway of the hips and arms, will cradle you from afar, they swing 'til you're tired and send you to mars, nighttime is almost ours
gramma (blue ribbon sparkler trailer heaven): A.M.E.R.I.C.A, all i wanna do is play
for k, pt. 2: the way your face is shaped, i wonder if you know? the way you stand up and your silhouette glows, i'm electrified, i'll be up all night, now
jump: hair thin and in the wind, cadillac convertible with him, hot-shot at 2A.M, you got a grin of a very old man
mermaid motel: maybe we could go to coney island, maybe i could sing the national anthem, wear a white sweater for the last white day of the summer, buy my purple wig for my mermaid video, walk back to where i live in the motel on neptune avenue
raise me up (mississippi south): it's the voodoo mississippi south, 69 million stars, birds are flyin' out of my mouth, spirits creepin' in my yard, hold my head, it's tilting back, something's dancing me around, putting crystals on my neck, lifting my feet off the ground
pawn shop blues: in the name of higher consciousness, i let the best man i know go, 'cause it's nice to love, and be loved, but it's better to know all you can know, said it's nice to love, and be loved, but i'd rather know what god knows
brite lites: the film is fading, look at me
put me in a movie: lights, camera, acción, you know i can't make it on my own
smarty: do i make you feel like christmas-time? put me in a party dress one time, love me 'til i see the sunshine
yayo: hello, heaven, you are tunnel lined with yellow lights on a dark night

My fave lyrics from each track of this absolute GEM. It's probably my fave album to listen to from start to finish

Kill Kill: Love you, I do/ Stay here, I won't/ The stars fade from your eyes

Queen of the Gas Station: Look at you smoking in the neon lights/ Under the thunder/ Yo you look so nice
Oh Say Can You See: The night time is almost ours/ To wander through alleys/ And look at the bars/ Nighttime is almost ours (her delivery of these lines )
Gramma: Don't cry, honey, crazy girl/ Don't you know you are the world?

For K Part 2: I like the way you wear your sweater off your shoulder/ The way your hair comes down and makes you look older/ How'd you so handsome, my boy?

Jump: Palm trees in black and white/ You are a junkie on your window smiling wide

Mermaid Motel: Maybe we could go to Coney Island/ Maybe I could sing the national anthem
Raise me Up (Mississippi South): I can talk what I want/ How I wanna/ I don't have to talk taste for your mama/ No, no, no  (PLS this song goes so hard)

Pawn Shop Blues: Well, I pawned the earrings that you gave me/ Golden metal flowers dangling/ And I almost cried as I sold them off
    Brite Lites:
Put Me in a Movie: You can be my daddy
Smarty: Say I make you feel like/ Like you did, like you did, when you were thirteen/ Say I make you feel like/ When you were the dirty heavy metal king

Yayo: It only takes two hours to Nevada/ I wear your sparkle, you call me your mama

Lizzy Grant you'll always be famous ♥

if she's going to release anything from this album SHE BETTER NOT release random songs on a compilation or change ANYTHING about it

she shouldn't just released it on apple music, if it would have been on all platforms, clips on youutbe + promotion, the album would have been a success because it was very innovative for the time, it doesn't sound like anything like other trending music at that time

Kill Kill had the most votes right after SYTH in the discord poll, the last time when I checked it

Sometimes her unreleased tracks (AKA included) get copyright strikes/claims on different platforms so unless this time is a different kind of claim I'm not moving yet

Are the AKA songs registered somewhere? Cause that could be a better clue than youtube and soundcloud uploads being taken down

i wish she'd perform some honeymoon songs i'm sure they would sound amazing live

I mean it’d be crazy if she doesn’t do a Latam tour… this is such a no-brainer that I’m not sure why it hasn’t been done before. Having four dates per tour is definitely not enough for the Latam market. Let’s hope she does this and serves an epic cunt for you guys

Speaking into existence that she performs let the light in or peppers during this festival tour.

I do think the setlist we got is a good mix between songs we're used to from her and a switch up. My only real question is... you literally got backing singers, did they not even rehearse Thunder, like at all?? It's such an obvious choice

Just a couple of tweaks like adding Thunder (and WC) would make the setlist legendary imo. It's easy to complain about the BTD songs but I always enjoy them when she sings them

there would most definitely be backlash from me if she didn't play btd, summertime sadness, or video games

She can definitely cut YB and DMD (and national anthem too). I was all for DMD but she basically lipsynced the whole thing so I can easily do without it. She should instead do Honeymoon/Terrence and Cinnamon Girl/Mariners. I would also replace Ultraviolence with West Coast. Ultraviolence is super heavy for a live performance

omg i think i would cry myself to sleep if i went and she didn't sing ride that song means so much to me and every live performance she does of it is filled with so much emotion

she seems like she feels comfortable singing those songs because she knows them well and she might be afraid of fucking new songs up or worried that the fans wont like them

she knows the gp love btd so maybe shes afraid of backlash if she didnt play the popular songs

Next show is Glastonbury Festival on Saturday 24 (3 days after Lana's birthday!) at 22:30pm local time

The only other time she played at Glasto was in 2014 for Ultraviolence, where she wore this iconic dress

Just saw her yesterday for the very first time and it was a dream came true.
After dreaming about this moment for 10 years, I finally saw her live and it was the most special and beautiful thing that happened to me.
I cried the whole time, actually I was trembling a lot of times bc I was so nervous/anxious/happy.
She was absolutely divine on that stage and it was like I was seeing an angel in front of me.
After all, dreams do actually come true.

Can’t wait for her to come to Brazil again.

Lana's backup singers and dancers made Instagram accounts showing behind the scenes pictures and videos if anyone wants to follow them:
    @honeymoon_angelsingers
    @lanas_ladies

Its such a cool idea, I love seeing behind the scenes stuff like this!

I’d like to apologise for my post about being robbed in Rio. The experience really shook me up and I wrote a post in the height of my emotions. I know it could have happened anywhere and generalising about any people or place is usually unfair on the majority. I should've known better. I've been to Brazil many times with several different artists and always had a fantastic time. The people have always been kind to me. The show in Rio was incredible and the fans are the most passionate (and loudest) on earth and no one deserves live music more than Brazil. The pic is from rehearsals for the tour that got cancelled due to covid back in February of 2020. It serves as a reminder of how amazing it is to be back touring with this camp after such a long time away and that Brazil was absolutely the right place for Lana's first show in over 3 years! My heartfelt apologies to any offended and looking forward to a another great show in Sao Paolo! -W

Also seems Ben started following him now so they are at least aware of it.

Madison Beer talks about Lana's influence on her album
    https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/madison-beer-new-album-silence-between-songs-1234744057/

On Friday, she’ll release the album’s lead single, “Home to Another One,” which she says reminds her of a mix of Lana Del Rey and Tame Impala, two of her favorite artists.

It’s not the only track on the album that shows Lana’s influence — there are some Born to Die elements on “Home to Another One” — and Beer even got to share the album with the star for feedback. She says Del Rey told her she’s particularly fond of the LP’s opening track. “She said she listened to it a couple of times back to back, and I can’t believe that,” Beer says. “It’s so awesome to have someone who has been such an idol of mine be so supportive of me and gracious always… She’s definitely someone that makes me believe in goodness.”
