Unpopular opinion but I hope she’s scrapped Happiness. It’s a cute song but I don’t want another piano ballad which doesn’t offer anything besides its cuteness.

honestly i kind of like this. I wish more covers were like this and kind of reinvent what the song is or what it could mean. I like that she's not trying to do her impression of Lana because whenever artists try that it always sounds so weird. 

She is such a great lyricist. Definitely reminds me of Fiona Apple in a way. If anything, Marina should consider poetry.

this is more of the Lana I wanna see, her glam siren self (in attitude, visuals ain't quite there) singing seductively over a jazz piano, those deep luscious vocals bitch! I knew the bitch still had it in her why is she not singing like this on her actual recent released work? less breathy LA fermented vegan wheat grass spinclass singing thru paper vocals and more sensuous brooding dark 50's siren baby vocals pls!

Ouch.

I didn’t hate the poem, it’s just that ‘Tesla mom cars’ line is so annoying, like when she sang ‘on the ipad’ in HIADT like she’s trying to weave in some futuristic-esque sponsorship or sumn.
 
The second half of the poem was good though.

ok, the Adidas clothing was one thing, but miss Lana Del Rey writing about mom cars is a personal line I didn't even know I had.

I'm sorry ily Venice but there's times where we are allowed to admit that what we are being served has no flavour

She makes simple poetry about her life and I think she knows it’s kinda cheesy at this point. But let’s just face the fact - that’s how it is. She’s now a middle-aged woman living in LA with unfulfilled dreams about being a mother, spending most of the time with her girlfriends and doing simply things just to make her happy. It’s not that exciting anymore but it makes her life less complicated. And I can appreciate her authenticity this era.

If she ever released a song with those lyrics her career would forever be divided into Lana before NFR and Lana after NFR
