not the "romanticisation of tumultuous relationships" again re thunder  did they even listen to the lyrics? "just keep burning, keep me alive, spare your blade" - from what i can tell, the whole song is her begging this explosive person to express their anger when they feel it/redirect it so as to limit them hurting her specifically. this is also why i think the new production is far more appropriate - it is eerie and troubling, just like its meaning

She needs to make a music video for Black Bathing Suit and Wild Flower Wildfire. Keep it simple like the 2nd Arcadia video. Lie Down With Me is a nice song but nowhere as epic as these other 2 songs. 

Yeah! And what really concerns (and confounds!) me is the lack of empathy for a woman who has SO obviously experienced, at the very least, an emotionally abusive relationship. It makes me wonder what is it about music as a medium in particular that makes it *difficult* to portray these kind of complex experiences without receiving an allegation of “romanticisation” - is it because it’s set to a great beat? Lol

Big Eyes is one of Lana’s best songs imo, it deserves better!

I don’t get the whole “romanticization” argument… aren’t artists or people in general allowed to narrate their own life experiences anymore?!? How the fuck is that romanticizing?
Art often comes from horrible experiences as a form of catharsis or as a chronicle of what happened (ex. wars) it doesn’t mean artists are romanticizing (whatever the fuck it means) the death of innocent people…

It always reminds me of the second chorus in Noir when she sings "I'm glamorous" and the first verse of Baby Blue Love. It's also quite similar to some of the vocals Lana does on Cruel World.

At the end of BBS where she wails “mail me when you get the blues”.. does anyone know where else she sang similarly to that??? I just know there’s another song with that same vocal effect but I cannot recall at all. Whether it was an outtake or on an album idk or is it just me?

Beautiful is really aging good for me. It's so so beautiful It truly is one of my faves now. I love the message a lot & I'm still not over how beautiful & interesting the piano sounds, I could literally listen to the "raindrop piano " for hours,  it's so beautiful

Why do some people in this thread think that it's impossible for a human being to change their mind? I think that after being off of social media entirely for a few days, Lana decided that she wanted to be on it without the aspects of her main account that she didn't like, so she went onto the Honeymoon account. It's really not that serious or deep.

The best thing she did was get out of social media... She looks happy and flawless... social media is really that toxic
