So... between work today and trying to prepare for a hurricane, I've only been able to listen to NFR one playthrough. Just with that single listening I can say that this is Lana's best work to date. I even added Season of the Witch and Looking for America to the end of NFR kinda as bonus tracks and they fit so well !!! Hopefully the fave song poll that is pinned will stay for awhile because I have a shit-load to do and need more time with NFR before I make any decisions. The amount of times this album has put on the verge of crying today, it’s just so beautiful, aaaahahahahhh I was walking to pick up my vinyl and listened the the album on Spotify and California came on and I felt all emotional and was like BISH NOT NOW you’re almost there keep it togetheR!!!

THAT OPENER. Norman fucking Rockwell such a fucking amazing song. Album is brilliant she continues to do whatever she wants and has no concern for doing anything other than following her convictions it is so endearing. Who the fuck is making songs like Bartender in 2019. How can anyone who makes songs like that be this popular and successful???? She wears her influences on her sleeve with no pretences at all and that's what makes all the references etc work. Seems like she is in a place in her life where she has fully reflected on any hardships she has had and she has this new humour that isn't present at all on her earlier albums. I think this album has the most of her personality in it. She wins again!!!

I have been here for a reconciliation with Barrie for a hot minute they were such a badass couple I didn't think it would actually be possible. He was with her during the most bizarre times of her life through fame and how hard she had it in the media it seems it would be a lot easier for them to be together in 2019 where she has it so much easier.
