The way the fandom has been carried by spare tea spilled by random people and a Vogue cover…we will not make it through

i honestly never believe it when insiders say that nobody has a known unleaked song, it always ends up leaking or at least having a snippet leaked

Blake Lee has a LENGTHY interview and in one small part (30 minute mark) he speaks about his time working on Ultraviolence and his first time meeting Lana!

Blake says he first met Lana and he was simply himself, no expectations. Byron helped him get the audition.
He says the First show they played together was secret and under an alias name in NYC.

He says working with Lana is "spontaneous, electric, thrilling" and he remembered looking up Video Games for the first time and his mother overheard and they both fell in love with the sound of the song and the video. and he knew he wanted to be part of her band.

Blake says he is blown away with how fast she writes songs and it is unlike anyone else he has worked with.
He says he has no idea how many songs she has written BUT Ultraviolence was originally a double album (40 songs were written for Ultraviolence that he remembers and said they were all worthy of being on the album. He said a few of the interludes that didn't make the album have been worked into some of the live shows they do)

Blake says he respects her so much and calls her "the real deal" and admires her ethos of "not trying hard or pretending to be something, and just saying NO when you don't want to do something or if something does not feel right knowing to say no, and then eventually the right thing will come along "
says it was Lana's idea to get Chriss Isaak to perform at the Hollywood Bowl,
Spoke about Sean Lennon and how magical it was

his new album is a dreamy, cinematic, avant-garde album and quite mesmerizing.

That's also probably a big part of it. I forget she's that old. In the TFJ-EH-Froot run I always think of her as being like, 19 to 24, when in reality she was like 25 to 30.

I think that might be a part of some of the fanbase's 'disconnect'. I feel like there was a HUGE leap in perceived maturity - between Froot and L+F it felt like she somehow lurched forward a decade in her appearance and appearances, mannerisms, attitude, etc. I always imagine EH, specifically, being such a 18-21 year old's album. The themes and the touches of angst around it are just so..... "youthful" to me. And then Froot comes along and we glow up a bit, but then....it feels like there was a missing "step" between that and L+F, and that "missing step" in maturity in all forms I think is where things rifted.

All rambles but I hope someone gets what I'm trying to put down.

Why do I have the feeling she ll have a random idea out of no where and postpone this.

that’s just a feeling. I’m not affirming anything

At the state level there has been recently very active campaigns for banning books in schools and public libraries that contain anything “sexual”.

this may seem well-meaning to outsiders, but the reality is they are using that language to target books that teach about the body/developing bodies, anything queer, and really anything who’s message they can twist to fit their narrative.

You know what other famous political party banned books?

I will always adore Lana’s music and feel a kinship with her as an artist however, Lana has a very compassionate, caring and sensitive disposition with good values… for her to marry a man who supports Trump and has liked posts that express violence towards people marginalised in society is very disappointing.

I could never, ever date a person who aligned with a man who was a misogynistic, hateful, greedy and all round nasty narcissist because I would be abandoning my true nature of wanting goodness in the world and my integrity at a social and values level.

Despite my opinion I will always listen and support Lana’s music as long as I still feel joy and a connection to it. I wish her all the best and happiness.

right? like i don't personally think she did but people need to stop acting like it's impossible that her politics have changed since 2020 (especially since she feels villainized by the left). she married a trump supporter, if she came out as one herself i would not be surprised.

Folks, i know the situation looks horrendous but Trump supporters will be eating our tears for breakfast and just laughing at our despair. Now more than ever we should be hopeful for the future, rather than giving up

We should calm down unless we all want to end up in cringe compilations
