I’m not a Jack Antonoff fan because I’m hearing similar regressions in  St. Vincent’s artistry since Massseduction and St. Vincent has way more musicianship than Lana does. So if Lana is responsible for picking the (basic) chords/sounds with no formal training, then what does that say about St. Vincent? That can’t be right

I don’t agree with some of the points made in the Harper’s bazaar article especially about cultural appropriation. I’ve always had pride in Lana for not going down the road of cultural appropriation, at least not as much as a lot of her peers. 
In my opinion, Lana only started becoming problematic when she posted the question for the culture post and since then she has become completely ridiculous on Instagram. It’s a shame because most of her previous political comments prior to that had made her “clean” in my opinion. Now it’s all just a mess. I’m still here for the music but that’s it.

Once you reach an age, you just enjoy the music, but defend the person who sings my favorite songs? Nope. Teenagers do that, not grown ass people.

i feel like an album cover reflects the music and neil’s suits the album better, the aesthetic is exactly how the album makes me feel

If they really thought she was as dumb, or toxic, as some people make her out to be, I don't think all of them would still put up with her? Maybe some of them would keep up with her for clout (we know which one), but I'm pretty sure if sure if she was as ignorant or unwilling to get "eDucAtEd" they would just dumb her ass on the curbside. I know I would.

I think we should cut her some slack, let the woman speak what's on her mind without trying to do a psychoanalysis on her. We really shouldn't be spending so much time on these controversies, it leads to nowhere. Let's just enjoy the music.

I don't agree with her rants and I think that she should put this energy into her music instead of social media, but it's valid. I just wish she had a PR team to post on her professional IG so she could move her rants to a spam account. Or formulate better for the Gods sake. 
 
Even though I have this opinion, her feelings are still valid and real. Artists barely have one original point of view nowadays. Everyone is scared of the backlash from cancel culture

Call me crazy but Let Me Love You Like a Woman is easily in my top 3 off of the new album, if not my favorite. I don't think it was a good single choice (especially not for the first) but it gets way too much hate.

im a little upset at the moment because these la zombies really got to lana and her fillers (mainly cheek/cheekbone/nasolabial even) is getting out of hand. its giving pillow face
i get it, shes a lil more thicker but adding MORE mass to the face does not help! she was probs the same weight in honeymoon era and she had minimal to no filler and she looked so so so good. she really does not need filler at all anymore because she got a lip lift anyway!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 
 
i hate that whack ass doctor she gives free tickets to because he probs eggs her on to get unnecesarry shit !!!!!!!!!!!!! her best filler era is 2011-2012 where she was mostly based in nyc where the filler was not so lumpy at all
