Is anybody here from Ukraine? And also, is anybody here from Russia? I‘m interested in what the Russian people think of all this. Putin is obviously using strong war propaganda, like saying there was a genocide of pro-Russians happening in the Ukraine. Is anybody falling for that?

Not sure that is the (sole) reason the NATO countries aren‘t sending troops. Russia is a nuclear power and Putin as you say obviously has become completely unhinged. If the NATO troops would get involved all these countries would be at war too and basically we‘d all be fucked.

Not (just) Hitler, these are Stalin methods. They recently banned a foundation or whatever dedicated to the victims of the Stalin regime. So basically, Putin supports what Stalin did. And he was not one bit better than Hitler and THAT is scary.

Omg I remember how obsessed I was with her entire persone and aesthetic. Recently I remembered the Popcandies Paparazzi videos, there was a new one like every day in 2012. Iconic. It wouldn't fit on UV the way it is now but tbh I'm 100% sure that if you gave this song to Dan Auerbach, he could make it sound like a UV track in less than a minute with just a few slight instrumental changes. The topic, the lyrics, and the way she sings it so "imperfectly" (which you mentioned in your longer posts a few pages ago) go along pretty well with PWYC for example. Anyway what I'm saying is, it actually reminds me of older eras a lot more than of BB or anything newer, which I love.

Exactly! I also hate it when adult women call themselves "girls" in their songs like.. no. But anyway, maybe that's just a language thing. In my native language no grown woman would call herself a girl, it would just sound wrong.
