  1. I kinda regret already voting for my fave songs. I usually make up my mind about songs during the first few weeks post-release. The entire album is a grower for me. It's really personal, much more personal than any other album she has released since 2012. DBJAG was the only song that really moved me, WD, TJF and COCC are great, the rest still has to grow on me.
  2. Do we know who the girl on the skates is? I have to say I'd much rather have footage of Lana on skates, even with a cast on her arm. Or just not somebody else pretending to be Lana when it's so obvious. A girl dressed as Lizzy with a blonde wig would've been cute too. ANYWAY it's cute video. It matches the song and I like how simple and calm it is.
  3. I think everbody's staring at the video countdown, not at this chat
  4. Agree with both, to me BTD-LFL was a journey, and then NFR and COCC are the in-between stages, Lana figuring out what to do next...the calm before the storm
  5. Yeah or like @BluebirdXO said go to Europe or wherever for a while. Hell, I wouldn't mind her moving to Alaska, just go somewhere else please
  6. She ?? needs ?? to ?? leave ?? L. ?? A. That place spoils every artist
  7. Exactly the same here. If I already know songs, the experience of a new album feels sort of interrupted and I just wait for them to finish so I can listen to a song I haven't heard yet. It ruins the flow for me. I needed a long time to see (and feel) NFR as a cohesive album because of that, so it's no snippets for me (I only listened to TJF once) and singles in moderation.
  8. I don't get the obsession with Cherry and Happiness Is A Butterfly.
  9. Mine are UV, HM and AKA. Not sure if an album could ever dethrone them for me, but it'd be pretty exciting
  10. In the studio acapella of West Coast it's clearly "la la" and I hate it. I just keep singing "my love" and pretend I don't know better
  11. I‘m gonna listen to all of the artists mentioned on that A-Z list (bzw, did Mojo create that list or did Lana?) So far, Sibylle Baier sounds exactly like May Jailer, even the lyrics. A really good interview, I love the way they included her Lizzy Grant days!
  12. It's so so underrated, really dreamy and calming. I love her soft humming in the beginning, never understood the hate
  13. I like that they reacted to Lana's tweets and not in a snappy or ridiculing way. Pretty annoyed by Complex for simply ignoring all of that. Like, say something!!
  14. I don't even find this too bad tbh, we've seen worse. Yeah the "you're jealous" thing is pretty childish but other than that whatever... I do feel bad for Rolling Stone though. It's like a mother telling her child to behave in advance and the child wasn't even planning to misbehave
  15. Exactly my thoughts, I hate that they're writing these things and that she's fighting them now.
  16. Pretty sure the girl in the beginning is supposed to be Lana as a child. I guess her childhood and her troubled relationship with her mother are gonna be two of the main topics of this album...
  17. Huh she does sing "Comprende mis white lines", no??
  18. I'm a little sad about it but the magic is gone for me too. I've listened to LMLYLAW and Summertime about 2-3x and not at all to YNWA. I'm just not that interested in these songs. And then her overall behaviour in 2020 left a very bitter taste in my mouth. Wouldn't be so bad if I had a new substitute for Lana, but really there's no other musician who created such a unique world of their own and fascinates me as much. I mean, it's not that important but being so fascinated with an artist is just really fun. I'm not yet ready to leave though. I still have hope her work is gonna fascinate and excite me again. I'm determined to work this out!
  19. I just listened again. The chorus is very beautiful but the verses sound weird to me, especially the first one. But that's why I edited my original comment. Back in 2012 I listened to the A.K.A. version first and after that to the Paradise version and I disliked it so much I never gave it a try again lol. Just now I listened again and I don't think it's that bad anymore. It was probably because I was used to the Yayo version.
