one of her best songs ever imo!! that and the first track from solar power absolutely top tier material.
  5. gorgeous queen post more post more!
  6. this!! i truly don't care if an artist has never touched the material, if they can sing the shit out of it i'm good
  7. ben!! i know it's a real oldie so not likely but w lana you truly never know valley of the dolls also one of my fav demos and would love to hear a finished version. also the real version/finished version of hollywood, one of the great unreleased bops of her career i fear.
  8. i need more cryptic insta stories like the "hope you like country music" one
  9. i think it'll stay the same; my guess is she started w shortened set list to make sure she didn't overexert herself and added songs once she had a better idea of her energy reserve each night and is now pretty set. would die for her to add plastic doll though, one of my chromatica favs!

is this happiness vs. happiness is a butterfly
  11. listening to NFR while driving in so cal really does hit different– cruising through malibu and santa monica, windows down, blasting that album has been a top-tier lana experience for me every time (grew up in so cal so there often). NFR is truly in pantheon of iconic california albums. i have also listened to the violet audiobook at the beach a few times, audio low enough to hear the waves the whole time, and that has been extremely heavenly, like living on another planet for a little while. i've written about this here before but i got back into lana (after falling off after UV) the spring i was living in italy and i've never felt so glamorous as while walking through the uffizi in florence with HM, LFL, and hope is a dangerous thing on a loop. those albums/songs really remind me of that time in my life now in such a delicious, warm, baroquely melancholy way. chemtrails (top 3 lana album for me) was such a huge part of the first year of the pandemic. i am so grateful to it for giving me a space to really think about my life and where i've been and want to go, and it make days that were filled with so much uncertainty and fear into rituals of domesticity that were made comforting and more magical through association w the album and its biggest questions/concerns. specifically i remember driving through rural counties, all rolling green land and cows, with the windows down, singing along, during my drives a local park where i'd go on hikes.
  12. Prey (2022) and it was goooood! not a predator person (haven't seen any of the other movies) but this one slapped.
  13. bodies bodies bodies– really fun! reminds me of the horror-comedies of my youth (i know what you did last summer, scream etc), rachel sennott amazing.
  14. don't play high key the worst thing she's ever released. agree that the songs you list are the best ones on hfk– bad at love & now are never still hit so hard (the first halsey songs i liked).
  15. there are 3 skips for me (lies, sorry, and don’t play) BUT I think the rest is excellent and it’s a super overhated album.
