That insider didn’t lie. This album is a boring mess.

The Jack tracks she scrapped were all NFR! leftovers (like 1/3 of COCC anyway), only Love You was kinda interesting. She clearly has no inspiration for this record and the 3 released songs feel so out of place among the country stuff she is doing now.

With touring being out of the question - record labels like Interscope need to make money somehow. Lana is one of their most profitable artist and she has an album ready. They will do whatever it takes to release it the sooner they can (the source code for pre-order is already up on her shop website). I wouldn't even be surprised if they try to make her record another one for next year to be honest.

In the non-apology video, she said something like “my new record COCC coming September 5th”. If she was talking about the spoken word album she would have mentioned Behind The Iron Gates -or whatever that name is- too.

One month after, this is still crazy how much hate she is getting online. Everytime she does something, you have dozens of comments calling her Karen or/and racist. It doesn’t even matter if COCC is good or not, critics will drag her anyway.
