I don't think thats what happened. I have never heard of her having disputes with Interscope. They seem to let her do what she wants. 
 
Something probably provoked her to write up that IG post back in May, but I don't think it was a record label dispute. 

I'm still hoping that the album cover is her standing on the wing of an airplane; a Boeing 707 would be my personal pick.

I am curious if this music video will be just for the title track of the album, or if it might be a video for two or three songs together. 

I’m really excited about this album coming. 
 
ive been in a difficult place lately. My depression has been acting up a lot and Lana has always been my safe place. It’s like she is the only one who knows how to make me feel better. 
 
It’s like Lana always releases an album when I’m in a dark place and when I need it most.

My guess is the priority right now is the first poetry book. Who knows what the contract with her publisher says. 
 
I think the album is done and ready to go, but I think no move will be made until after the first poetry book comes out. Also, considering the current situation with this pandemic, so many things have gotten delayed. Nothing is normal. They may have been late getting the record mastered, maybe they were late doing the photoshoot. Who knows. 
 
But I do think the album is coming soon. Probably in the fall/ before the holidays. 

And this is why Lana is fed up with the music industry establishment. She innovates, everyone else copies her. Everyone else gets the credit and Lana gets snubbed at the awards losing to people who copied her.
 
Anyway, Lana’s book comes out in one month! Looking forward to it!

I saw this on Jack's page before. Electric Lady Studios has turned 50 years old. So many great recordings have been made there.

Well, obviously there can be no excusing that kind of behavior.

The very idea of expecting Lana to say that it's delayed is part of the problem. Lana can give a date if she wants. She can give a date and if the album gets delayed, she really does not have to say anything. 
 
When it comes to finalizing dates, sure Lana can say when she wants something out, but it is up to the label and her management to take care of that.
 
Lana's sole job is to create art. When she is creating, she really does not have to tell everyone what she does at every moment of the creative process and how it may or may not cause delays. That is managements job. 
 
As James Franco said, Lana lives in her art. I seriously doubt she thinks that much about fans being impatient because her art is her life. She knows that when she puts her art out there, the fans will embrace it. So why focus on anything but the art? Lana is a true artist. As an artist, her job is the art. The logistics of the art is on her management team.

This is out of control. If I were Lana’s manager, I would tell the fans to cut it out. No need to make Lana day it. Sorry but Ben needs to be the referee here, it comes with the territory.

50-50 chance now she says something and calls out this bad behavior some are engaging in. 

You know, she probably doesn't even remember announcing that September 5 date to begin with. 
 
I mean, if she forgets her own lyrics, I can see her forgetting a release date. 

It’s not coming on the 5th - build a bridge guys and get over it.  Something is coming within in the next 2 months most likely. It’s not that long to wait..it felt like yesterday she announced the album name and that was May ?
