I still love Fingertips so much
It sounds like a very beautiful but sad and tragic theatrical play. It's one of her saddest songs if not the saddest song of hers in my opinion. I'm okay that she used a voice note, despite that her voice sounds beautiful and haunting, very emotional and Drew really worked his magic with instrumental. Fingertips is a special , once in a lifetime piece of art

Fingertips is her best song lyrically. She literally wrote about everything, every word was just there, she put everything into it!!!

I’m still in shock about the hate the boards had for Sweet when the album came out
i still think it’s one of her most important and beautiful love songs.
the lyrics and vocal performance are so thought out and impactful.
still my fav (with let the light in) from this album.

Tbh her speech made me realise how burnt out she was after the recording process of Lust For Life. I mean, nice if we would have gotten the B-sides album but what would have happened after that, if she never met Jack. She admitted to have a writer's block as well. Hate Jack or not, he has inspired Lana a lot!

one of her most underrated songs/collabs. I was listening to it on a gorgeous winter walk, and it was just magical, felt like I was in a Disney movie. Lana has to release a Christmas album someday, I'm begging her

The only thing I wish for this album, is to have crystal clear vocals,
ocean blvd’s was full of muffled songs, that henry snippet sounded so clear, so I hope the other songs sounds as clear

The Grants is perfect as an opener for an album like Ocean Blvd. It captures its atmosphere and storytelling perfectly. Lana said this album is "super stripped back" so I don't expect a big opening song. Some of you already have unrealistic expectations.
“The songs I have, I love, so I don't want to turn it into something that's half cooked, even if it's super stripped back. I want it to be what it was supposed to be.”
If anything, I want this album to just sound beautiful and truly "light" in its atmosphere, more in the style of Let The Light In rather than Not All Who Wander Are Lost.

someone should make a list of lana's songs that pass this dreamy eerie vibe (but dont include may jailer era songs tho)
