    It might be super unpopular, but I’ve been listening to Violet a lot lately (probably because everything regrading BB is just so shadowy and unclear), and I wouldn’t even be mad if she gave us Behind The Iron Gates this summer instead of the album. The soft music with her reading her poems is so magical

    I feel the magic rising with this latest selphie. She's shaking off whatever her version of 2020 PTSD is and emerging bright and fresh and ready to deliver the album of her career.

    Marina is great at what she does but I can't imagine how either of them would be able to keep up with Lana in the studio
     
    Edit: I also want to add that I think it's important to be associating Lana with peers more accurately on her level. All 3 have really different musical styles - the only thing they really have/had in common, especially back in like 2012, was their "stylised image" and "sad girl" aesthetic (which tbh the sad girl trope is just a super misogynist and narrow way of looking at their music)

    I hope none of the singles is the closing track, that's a weird preference of mine; I think the closing song should be a mystery unveiled once an album has dropped.

    I can't seeing her rerecording AKA (it's already a classic + too good to re-record/rework and she must know that) but I can see her re-releasing it as is one day in the way distant future
