I am thinking the same as you, I wish she seemed sure of what she was putting out like in the older days.  I miss when she seemed really passionate about the records.  I also saw someone say that Blue Banisters looks sort of like a ‘best of’ situation.
 
I also had a thought, which is a bit of a reach, that goes in line with her “iM WrItiNg my StoRy and NoBodY can telL it But mE” kind of thing where I feel she’s doing a Hounds of Love type of album where perhaps the one half is telling a cohesive story with connected songs and the other are songs that she thinks people want her to put out, to draw people in to the actual story (like The Ninth Wave, side b of hounds of love). I’m just fantasising about this because of the dogs on the cover really.  Probably a big reach, as I feel we know a lot about her story and I don’t know what else she wants to reveal.

What does that matter exactly? She still wrote and sang those songs and chose to not release them. Now she feels like it's their time. Songs don't just lose their value like that.

since she's possibly releasing a few of her amazing songs from 2012-2015... we should leak unidentified flying bill, a marvelous song from 2013... as a way of celebration... just a thought   

There's unreleased leaked songs on the album already tho. 
Also they shouldn't be pissed about her wanting to be paid for her work

If she doesn't want deluxe editions, she should do re-edition. Blue Banisters: Arcadias at Sierra Madre?

Maybe not to avoid public opinion… but to have a more private connection with her fans? Adding the unreleased songs feels like an insider joke to me between us and her 

Recently it seems the GP might be kinder to her than most of her fans, she needs to switch up the tactic

On a more serious note, Lana seems to be speaking to us fans directly by:
 
- Uploading the Hope mv on an old lizzie youtube account
- Tweeting about the mv and deleting it after one minute
- Deleting her selfies after one day
- Dropping three songs and doing no promo/staying silent
- adding unreleased songs her fans love
 
She seems to make sure that the general public doesn’t find her stuff. Maybe that‘s her new way of communicating?
