You're welcome  I honestly just don't understand why you're so offended by Lana involving her family in her work. A lot of artists do that, and Lana has been since 2006. She made one song with Rob and Chuck that none of us have even heard yet, get over it.

her sister's been taking photos of her for 14 years

this really shouldn't be a new concept that she likes her family involved in her work...

Idk, maybe it’s a song she wrote with the people she loves the most? A song that means a lot to her? Isn‘t it beautiful that she has that connection with her family?

I'm sorry but this is genuinely such a strange way to think of that. They're not "getting royalties through nepotism", they're making songs with their family member because it's something they all enjoy doing. Lana has said since 2011 that her family all love music/singing. It's not that dramatic or deep, and it's not like Lana's family needs her money. They've always been well off.

I can't remember what her last humorous song was, but at least "Dealer" seem to have some of her humor that we missed.

I actually don’t think Lana has ever taken herself all that seriously. I think some of the songs on UV like Brooklyn Baby and FMWUTTT are somewhat tongue-in-cheek, and on all of her albums there’s always been traces of a sense of humor in at least one or two songs.

I loved the tongue-in-cheek humor, bounce and levity some of her songs had in that era. She didn't take everything she wrote, or herself, so deadly seriously. That's one of the reasons I wasn't greatly overwhelmed by UV.

I’m still curious for that one.
but Arcadia is, to me, her « revenge song » (along with telling her own story on the rest of the album): the middle fingers, the allusion and production similarities to Video Games, the references to her body could also be a big FU to people criticizing her weight recently, the part about being torn down…
it’s a « calm revenge » though and a tad more provocative song / album could be what we thought RCS would be .

I wonder what the rock Candy Sweet album would have sounded like. That post where she was all like “and I WANT REVENGE” had me GOING! …then that passed and we got blue banisters instead which seems like a much calmer less “I WANT REVENGE” themed album
