inb4 she only ever finished Downhill Lullaby, Don't Forget and Descending. Former two were already released as singles and apparently Descending had been submitted so there's our Masochism, a 3 track album!
 

thinking about how in another timeline sky released cry baby so she could have her creative rights or whatever, released night time, my time shortly after which was funded by her label, guardian was released in july 2015, and masochism was released in 2016 and sky is currently working on her 4th studio album!

screaming at her deciding to post a crappy snippet on instagram REPEATING the same old narrative of the big bad label blocking her projects. and what’s even more funny is that she’s acting like they’re scrapping a whole album worth of material when in reality she probably only finished 3 songs in total in 9 years

the way masochism at the most was like an EP's worth of demos that never got turned in is probably the funniest part of this whole charade 

I dont care if she's lying or not, for descending I pretend to believe her 100%, I would give my blood, kidney or even Venmo her a couple of dollars

Her stories suggest they kinda just ghost her instead of giving her a release date even though we know it’s been submitted so I guess that answers how they “block” the release? She complained about the same thing around this time last year about getting no date for Don’t Forget. Her vagueness over the years implied hostility/sensationalized the issue but now that we know it’s indifference from their behalf this isn’t hard to believe tbh?

I wanted someone to challenge her to talk about it openly on Instagram or other social media, no more blaming Capitol in interviews, come out and explain the whole situation. i have to admit, all this is making me very frustrated and sad. i’ve considered myself the biggest sky fan for the past several years and i don’t think i’ll ever turn on her, just because of how connected i feel to her music and as an artist. but even i have to admit a lot isn’t being told to her fans. whoever’s fault it is, capitol or sky, the fans that waited 9 years for 2 songs, deserve an explanation. i was so hopeful this would be the year masochism finally saw the light of day, but unfortunately i really do believe if all that momentum she got earlier this year, couldn’t get the album out there, we are truly never going to get it. i’ll always support sky and i’ll stream the album if it ever does come out but i don’t believe sending hateful comments and energy her way is the solution. i really hope we get some sort of clarity as to what is truly going on. at this point if she still can’t get the album out there, there is nothing else she can do to gain the support from her label so therefore she should just be 100% transparent for once instead of being vague and beating around the bush and then her fans could actually do something to help the situation. i love sky and i really hope we all make it to see the other side where the album has finally dropped.
