When I listened to the first four tracks in a row I was floored. I firmly believe this album will become more beloved than NFR, something that is an instant classic like Folklore or Golden Hour, and will go down in history alongside albums like Blue by Joni Mitchell, praised for its sonic cohesiveness,  soundscape, and raw personal lyrics. Argue with the wall.   

Lmao what  i guess she has to pull a hunger games dystopia cosplay manual and sing at Biden’s inauguration like lady gaga did so that people don’t perceive her as “republican”. She is one of the few stars who has been super open about her politics not only in the US but also in the world. “Our leader is a megalomaniac,

But never 'cause it was what the country deserved”; she’s been calling out Trump and Kanye and the attacks on women and gun laws and so much more. She has always played around with the delusion of the american dream. She openly announced that she voted for Biden and celebrated when he won. She also posted in favour of aiding Ukraine. If people think she is a republican I honestly don’t care about anything else these people have to say.

We are aware that Lana's latest album has leaked, and tracks are circling off-site.
We are monitoring these developments but at this point we need to refer people back to the original guidelines which were agreed to when users joined the site, notably these two: 
Anyone caught trading, or if any mod has their suspicion of a person trading, will have their PM access disabled as well as the ability to post status updates on the main page, and on the pages of other members. Posting or sending illegal download links to officially released content available for purchase or streaming whether a leak or post-release is strictly forbidden. Additionally, requesting links to such content is also not allowed. Violating these rules will result in a warning points, mod queues, and if especially ban and continuously breaking the rules, a ban.
While we do permit users to discuss material before it's been released, lately there have been extremely malicious content mixed in and masquering as material for the album which is deliberately misleading and distressing to most users. You must understand that we cannot control what you chose to do off-site, but strongly recommend that you do not engage with any file you're not sure on the origin on. Certain posts have been refered to external bodies, and needless to say if any user is found in connection with these the penalty will be severe. 
Do not try to be clever - don't use words that rhyme in place of a website, don't refer to any offsite websites where leaks are being held, don't discuss the content outside of music from files offsite. These will all result in a warning point and mod queue until release day. 
I also want to remind you of two other things this moment: 
Please stay on topic. We will be liberally giving out warning points and mod queues for those breaking this rule in the Pre-Release thread, as we are needing to ensure all posts are conforming to our guidelines and standards.  If it's too much, log off. It truly is that simple. Music is the most wonderful thing in the world but can really heighten emotions, and although you're excited to discuss and listen to new music, it's just as important to your mental health to log off, enjoy something in real life and take a break from here. Check-in with yourself and make sure you're ok.  We look forward to celebrating the album with you on it's release, but please use common sense and make sure you're complying with the above because you're not going to find leniency as the default reply.

In the nicest way possible- are some of you guys fucking deaf? 
aNoThER pIanO bAlLaD alBuM!!!?!?!? as if she's ever released an album full of piano ballads, most of you always use Chemtrails as an example even tho there's literally 2 or 3 piano songs in there, the rest is acoustic guitar based and then there's TJF and DBJAG.
Blue Banisters also had plenty of variety- or are Text Book, Black Bathing Suit, Dealer, If You Lie Down With Me, Nectar Of The Gods, Thunder and The Trio piano ballads?
I'm tired of constantly seeing people trashing her new music for being "boring", and then these are the same people who hate on LFL for having trap beats, ofc you can have an opinion, but if you only like BTD, UV and NFR! then why are you even stanning anymore?

I don’t think any insiders thus far have sugarcoated anything? Kintsugi gave it an 8, which is hardly perfect, and said that the interludes are horrible. BOZ is hardly a Lana fan at this point, so I don’t see what he would gain from sugarcoating, especially when he said for months leading up to BB that he hated it. 
 
i think all 3 opinions we have got have been very similar - it’s a very varied album in which everyone will have something they like, which is perfectly reflected by how different everyone’s rankings have been so far

No bb we're getting an emotional rollercoaster, a complex journey into a messy mind and soul that explores the highs and lows of family, memories, insecurities, and life as a whole  An absolute powerhouse of an album I suspect. If you are too unimaginative to see the threads and want to call it an unserious playlist, that's your choice, but I can already see the vision and I just know it's going to be jaw-dropping. 

Some of you heard the phrase "world building" from the Billboard interview and ran with it, without even being able to describe what it means.

Yeah, this is why BoZ said why are we focusing on the songs on the bottom of their lists instead of focusing on the fact that he hasn't been a Lana stan in over three years and still finds the album to be amazing and in her top three  
 
Focusing on the negatives isn't helpful, we should all be focusing on the positives and the fact that there have been wildly different reactions to each song.

Very original and creative

Crazy that so many of y’all hate on Blue Banisters, I just adore the song (and the whole album !). It’s atmospheric, full of emotions, dreamy, the songwriting is great … I’m happy to know that Tunnel will be as personal as BB was

I would agree with cinnamon girl (I love it tho), but A&W deserves its praise. I know most popular songs are trash or overrated  but there's exception to that rule and A&W is. It stands out on Lana's discography.
