Has anything leaked recently? I'm hoping for more After School outtakes.

"Left me all by myself to let the garden grow
Planted a seed, then ran
Hey, where'd the water go?
Lay me on a bed of dead roses, though
Dug out a hole, then sowed
That's where your body goes
Garden, it won't grow
Tied the hose, off you go
Next time you jump the gun
Better be walkin' slow"
Such a good fucking song. Wish so badly that it made the final cut because it would've been a #1 for sure, and showed so many people what she's really capable of writing-wise.

Here's the songs I think would be perfect for an EP
Synchronicities - The lyrics describe a journey of personal growth and introspection, with Melanie searching for signs and meaning in life. The chorus expresses a desire for connection and understanding, with her asking for someone to hold them, show them they are aligned, and tell them what they are missing. The outro suggests a sense of acceptance and awareness of the interconnectedness of things, such as recognizing synchronicities and a feeling that everything is right where they are meant to be.
Fingers Crossed - This song is about having feelings for someone who is unavailable. The lyrics express the narrator's longing, possibly Cry Baby, and the struggle to keep their emotions hidden. The chorus reflects on the temptation to take risks and the uncertainty of their relationship. The theme explores the complexities of unrequited love and the idea that timing plays a significant role in matters of the heart.
Garden - The lyrics describe one's efforts to cultivate and nurture the relationship, while their partner seems to be less invested and eventually abandons the relationship. The song shows that the partner's lack of patience, commitment, and willingness to work on the relationship is what ultimately led to its failure.
Needle & Thread - The song seems to be about a complicated relationship that has ended, but the speaker is finding it difficult to let go and move on. They feel torn between wanting to cut ties and sever the connection, and yet they are also drawn back to the familiar and comforting aspects of the relationship.
Death (Demo) - I know this song is about the pain of losing someone but I think it could also be about the "death" of a relationship. I also think with the line 'Next time, I'll listen' this would be the perfect closing track.
* Dragon's Blood could be a single. I didn't include it in this list because it wouldn't fit the concept but I think it would be a great stand-alone single because I do love the song.

I think this theme would be even better if she herself was the Toy Chest, and it was all a metaphor for the way we have to go through life carrying our trauma and trying to "clean it up".

Toy chest - the side B album full of titles relating to toys
Animal crackers - the side c album full of titles related to food
Coloring book - the side d album full of everything else

She’s stated clearly on multiple occasions that she will never release songs from her previous era’s.. I honestly find that very annoying

Portals kinda ruined K-12 to me, it's so bad compared to Portals. Cry Baby is just a little bit better than K-12 but Portals is to me kinda like a career restart, her proper debut album.

LYIN' LOUD THROUGH IT ALL
CUT YOUR FACE FROM THE FALL
WHEN YOU'RE HURT WHO'D YOU CALL
I CAN'T ANSWER NOW
SPENT THE RENT ON A KITE
ONE-WAY STREET TO THE SCYTHE
CLEAN IT UP WATCH IT DIE
IT'S YOURS TO DECIDE

Truly, lol. Portals is a nice album but it would be perfect with a few additions from her unreleased. Fingers Crossed, Maze, and Needle & Thread especially are like perfect sisters, where the only thing that could make them better is if they were officially released(and Maze given a second verse).
I also think Maze+FC have a lot of similarities in their instrumentals and meanings, so it would've been fun to have them as a double feature like Soap+TW. Putting FC out as a single like Copy Cat could be a really cute idea too because it could have it's own cover art with a literal needle and thread making up the "&"!

According to Apple Music, GUTS has 12 tracks. 'vampire' is listed as track 3. Tracks 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, and 11 are listed as explicit.
