  3. Ohhh this is so ethereal ... It's giving Juliet's balcony from Romeo and Juliet
  4. Listened to this again for the first time since it released and honestly it hit a bit harder this time, it's definitely a beautiful song
  5. IT ARRIVED It's so pretty in person! I actually love the colour scheme! I haven't worked out how to display them yet, but I agree, they are so stunning. I only have the indie, boob, picture disc, and festive vinyl variants though I really want the target/hmv one and a standard one
  6. OMG so, I really need to be working right now but I just spent ages reading about 20 pages back, and my excitement is beyond belief This is going to be beyond legendary (no matter what) but the BILLBOARD? The SNL reference? The soundchecks? Billie? Ginger/Blonde hair?? Possible MILLION DOLLAR MAN, JEALOUS GIRL, WEST COAST, WITHOUT YOU, etc?? (Personally hoping for Shades of Cool, that is ethereal live) California HOMELAND OF THE GODS indeed ... Why am I not there! Why am I not seeing Lana this year! The worst thing is I really don't think I'll be able to wake up U.K. time to even watch the livestream I feel like this Coachella performance is a moment in history that people decades later are going to look back on as one of the most iconic live performances of all time!! I can't WAIT to see what she is wearing and experience the setlist and hear her sing and see the stage and all EDIT: Okay 7:20am I can do ... even though I'll be spending the whole day on a trip
  7. I would actually do anything to live in U.S. at this point ... I'm getting ridiculous levels of FOMO
  8. I used to binge watch the Australian one as a preteen-early teenager. No idea why because I'm not even Australian. I haven't watched any version since those days (which was a long time ago). In retrospect the American one specifically is so toxic
  9. No email link yet but thank you so much @hotshot2am, purchased thanks to you
  10. About four years ago I planned to travel to the U.S. especially to see this, unfortunately that did not end up happening
  11. From the photos I would looooooove this cover to have holographic or metallic highlights, but I realistically know that's not going to happen
  12. The way they've attached the letters looks so cheap I'm sorry
  13. I'm really obsessed with this lately, and I can't help but wonder if Lana was thinking of this with the infamous NFR "Bird World!" title I can imagine Lana liking Patti, she's also inspired by the beat poets
  14. Wildflower wildfire Velveteen
  15. God Knows I Tried Celluloid
  16. I agree with you, but those are some of my favourite songs because they're so languid, cinematic, dreamy, and stunning I guess I don't consider languid to be a negative word. I think of it as not meaning "low effort" but more the way that a summer day feels all hazy and slow. I would also quite like zero covers. Although I loved Buddy’s Rendezvous, Doin' Time and a few others, I feel the albums are stronger without them (generally)
  17. I just finished Wide Sargasso Sea, a post colonial, post modernism feminist response to Jane Eyre. Loved it personally although I can see why it has mixed reactions. I also recently read my first James Joyce, A Portrait of an Artist as a Young Man. There were moments of brilliant prose but overall it dragged too much for me. I'll try more Joyce though. Before that, I read The Dispossessed by Ursula K Le Guin, a great exploration of anarchism, capitalism, etc in a science fiction setting. I Who Have Never Known Men, a dystopian by Jacqueline Harpman, was also excellent. It will probably stay with me for a long time. The Crying of Lot 49 was my first time reading Pynchon and I thoroughly enjoyed it. What a trip! I'll re-read it later for sure. It's also such fun seeing how many people are inspired by it, including Radiohead, one of my favourite bands! I am now seeing W.A.S.T.E everywhere. Giovanni's Room was also my first James Baldwin, and I fell in love with his minimalist prose. What a great tragic story and so far ahead of its time. I will absolutely be reading more Baldwin. I could go on and on but ... I'm now reading The Word for World is Forest, a short story by Ursula Le Guin, and will then be moving onto The Sailor Who Fell from Grace with the Sea, my first Mishima, which I bought recently.
  18. I don't really know where the best place to post this is, but I randomly came across this dress and INSTANTLY thought it would be such a cute lasso moment with cowboy boots! The embroidered horses? Plus I feel it matches her recent style quite nicely https://www.libertylondon.com/uk/embroidered-horses-ruffled-mini-dress-000795156.html
  19. I suddenly massively regret paying with my bank card What a mess up and how disappointing
