Does anyone think the actual music sounds any different? Like it's supposed to be remastered which means they've like edited the sounds and stuff? It sounds kinda the same to me but I do feel like the strings are kinda louder in "Born to Die" but I could just be imagining this?

That's actually my main complaint about L+F. It's void of any character. Completely faceless, down to it's imagery. Any generic pop girl could've put it out. L+F could literally be a Rita Ora album and no one would bat an eyelash.

Anyway, stream ARTPOP by Lady Gaga since it's her best album 

I wouldn't say the production is "bad" per se. It's just a bit sterile. Not really taking any risks sonically, which isn't always necessary. But it doesn't sound very distinct. Like it could have been given to any other artist and I would've never thought anything of it. I wouldn't have hated it but I wouldn't have gone out of my way to listen to it. I wonder if a lot of us who've listened to L+F would revisit the album if it wasn't a Marina one.

can we all take a sec and appreciate the backing vocals in Starring Role's bridge? Honestly, one of my fav Marina vocals EVER

T H I S, the songs might not be the best but all of them are at least listenable (plus we got gems such as Emotional Machine, TBH or HH)

L+F isn’t lyrically deep and her vocals are very meh, but it is a solid pop album, and pleasing to the ear! Is it her best? No. Is it close? No. Is it her worst album? Probably. But is it terrible? No!

I'm not suprised that someone who genuinely likes L+Fs terrible sound does not get TFJ

L+F has the depth of a puddle of piss next to TFJ

Blue came on shuffle and i'm having war flashbacks. i remember going through very rough times and FROOT was my soundtrack throughout last year. Solitaire literally saved my life and i owe Miss Diamandis so much. thank you so much Marina and please get ur shit together <3
