This. Like...fine, Lana doesn't want to do promo, whatever.
 
But there's plenty of work that still falls into their purview that they failed to do.
 
See: Keeping songs out of the hands of leakers. Apparently, Lana's team is so incompetent that Love, Architecture, and another song from the Lust For Life era ended up in the hands of traders. Rather than, say, do their jobs and secure her music...what did they do? They came to Lanaboards. They "contacted" people. The most basic thing that isn't even up to the artist themselves, they couldn't do.
 
There's also that promo doesn't HAVE to be done by the artist themselves personally. So Lust for Life could have been pushed harder even without Lana's input. So there's that.
 
Edit: Hell, the fact that a stan/trader (Eclipse) was able to get access to Lana because he had access to her music is an example of them not doing their jobs.

Excuse me but didn't you see their reaction when Love leaked? Like, Lana was kinda okay with it but they didn't do shit. They just "contacted" some people and that was it. What did they do to possible leakers? Followed them. And that was it. Sure, Lana doesn't want to do countless interviews and live shows, but she kind of promoted 'Love', even if it was just on her Instagram. 
And we're getting like 3 magazines and we had 2 singles already. What I just don't understand is this silence if the album is really due to May 26th.

To be honest, there is no excuse for her managers to ignore/slack with her, no matter how great dua is (btw I've never heard anything about her outside this forum). They get paid to help Lana's career and honestly they aren't doing her any favors. Moreover, Lana is bigger than her and a little promotion goes a much longer way with Lana, and is worth the investment

Imagine saying this knowing we've already got two singles, one of which was like two weeks ago, one magazine shoot, the cover of the album and a Larina reunion.
 
Not to mention everything we don't have.

There are two of them. They should be able to focus on more than one person.

A collab doesn't seem that likely buuuut I also think she just likes working with her friends lately and is inspired by the process of collaboration (note the Dazed interview ended with her asking for a Courtney collab). But it's also telling that so far there doesn't seem to be collabs from all the friends we'd expect, like Father John Misty, and she actually reached out to Sean and Stevie. It could go either way, but I don't think its happened yet. I did notice they mentioned how supportive their mutual fans are of their friendship which almost implies that they knew the reaction they'd get re: those requests.

I said these a few pages back but I think the clue in the LFL trailer was the strawberries. Marina + Froot
