i kid. 'love song' is really nice - it's in no way jarring or bland. like, what did you expect for a song called 'love song'? lana to embody Beethoven and reinvent music? it's soft and gentle and that's, uh, kinda the point.

i think because it's the new year i'm a lot more sentimental right now but i remember discovering this like 4 years ago and it makes me REALLY nostalgic listening to this wtf we're all growing up and it's kinda scary, but this mixtape remains immovable (especially grins omg)  the fact that she's sticked to the 90s/y2k aesthetic this decade authentic queen

Does anyone else feel that since Lana has such a plethora of solid released music, it's harder to keep track or listen to her unreleased songs now compared to the BtD - UV era (I'm talking mainly the 'classic' unreleased like TV in Black and White, Prom Song, Starry Eyed - songs from that era)? I mention this because I listened to songs like JFK, TV in Black and White, and Behind Closed Doors for the first time probably in 2 years or more and it made me so nostalgic and it's bittersweet to see how much she's grown and progressed as an artist 

The effect of skipping a generation can be interpreted as erasure; however, it can also be interpreted as whatever -- the parents (of the first children) did to fuck everything up -- lasting a really long time.

Unpopular opinion (on why CWIMM is actually a good song):
 
It's a song that is a one-off in the sense that you can't really point to a lot of songs in her repertoire or other mainstream singers' repertoire that sound like it, so I would consider it an impressive song for that reason (along with her other admirably weird unreleased ones). 
 
However, if you think of Coachella as a collabo between Lana, Rick, and John Phillips Sousa, it does become a pretty cool song, imo (#witchyNecromancyForArt).

whether you like it or not, i really think bartender is one of her most (if not the most) unique released songs. she really goes full on singer/songwriter here. even though she does basically the same with HIADT, i feel like bartender is the first happier piano ballad she's made lol i remember hearing the snippet and literally not knowing where the song could go next

The original user gave a translation their next post, all I did was quote the whole thing word for word..I guess I just don’t get why asking for the full translation to be posted is that big of a deal  instead of calling other users lazy for asking, they could have did what I did and left it at that  instead there’s name calling and attacks.

i’m not even trying to be rude i know a lot of people on here are from different countries but it would be nice if we translated the general idea of news that’s written in a different language 

idk why im scared that the COCC music video is actually only gonna be like 3 minutes long and a lot of the scenes she shot get cut out and it ends up with really weird choppy editing and makes no sense
