I would have advised against posting anything as Lana can't seem to tie her shoelaces before she walks. It was unfortunate that the tangled web she weaved for herself happened just before George Floyd's murder. In reality Lana's psycho drama pales in relation to what happened to Mr. Floyd.  She may take some heat or some love now on social media but the media in general will not pick up on it because it is not that important. THE TRUTH IS CNN, THE NEW YORK TIMES, THE WASHINGTON POST, FOX NEWS 60 MINUTES ETC. ARE NOT BEATING A PATH TO LANA DEL REY'S DOOR TO GET HER OPINION ON THIS!!!!!! The idea that her posting or not is somehow important in the grand scheme of things is absurd. She is another high profile person who has a louder voice than we do but her making a post is not going to raise the consciousness of the culture. I will still buy her records and see her in concert. My opinion and I am not here to argue.

I’m hoping this doesn’t affect her career... will just have to see in September when the album drops and the sales come in. I also think she will lay a low profile and not even do interviews after all this bad luck she’s had. I’m hoping she’s staying in a good positive mind set though . If I was her i would definitely be crying. All we see is now hate bandwagon on Lana and when the album drops we could say she said something controversial and racist in the album to trick the locals into streaming it would work. I hope no celebrities she mentioned say anything negative about her now you never know it could her cause more stir her way. I also think her so called friends are fake asf only a few showed there support, but what major pop stars such as billie,Abel,Camila etc... it just goes to show they care more about there reputation then having her back

it's been very difficult to be a lana del rey fan these past several weeks, but if she quits music, i would be a little devastated. it would be so sad to think that people bullied her out of making art and sharing it with her fans. she's made some very questionable choices lately, and needs to be held reasonably accountable, but she doesn't deserve to be bullied and dragged out of her career, she's not r. kelly or 6ix9ine, people who actually deserve to lose their fame and power.

This is literally just a random tweet by a twitter stan that got this information from a random person who told them... If there were pics out there of Lana at a blue lives matter "protest" we'd have seen them. Using this whole situation as a tool to spread false rumours that came out of nowhere to make someone look bad/get them cancelled is fucked up.

re: George Floyd, she didn't need to pull out the typewriter font or give anyone a chance to misconstrue what she was saying. it could've been as simple as sharing a donation link. just an acknowledgement that something egregious and unacceptable has happened.

Been trying to defend or bring about the conversation that more need to try and look out for each other regardless of sides. and while I do genuinely believe that it's really none of our business, and that the situation is sad. a simple, "I'm still processing, you have my support, be safe while acting" if even from her managers a direct quote, would do so well to quell and dissipate a lot, at least in the forum, and the people who in a way still do look up to her and her platform.

she's not responsible for the entirety of it, she's still just a part of the complex happenings and the systems that play a part in our lives.

And I'm not one for sacrificing the peace/safety of others to impose anything on their lives, bc we should do more for ourselves, ourselves (please be safe), but been trying to operate more from a place of understanding and love, but that simple statement would do so much. then some kind of blackout that's already been.

she doesn't belong to us. and there are bigger things. but what happened to innocent until proven guilty. like granted we're trying to move on from this particular situation, bc bigger things, but just some damage control. and the truth in the situation is that it is sad. but regarding this, it's all we can really do. 

can we tone down the swaying from whether or not its right to defend her, bc there's validity to both sides. and be more mindful of how some of our comments are/ can be construed towards each other? for all sides.
