Lana isn’t a racist. Don’t believe she ever was. A racist wouldn’t have ever made a music video with a black husband as president and mixed children. I believe generally shes a bit ignorant when it comes to politics, we see even from feminism she hasn’t much interest in it. Alot of artist minds live in their own bubble, especially so as we battle mental illness. I’m bipolar and have had really dark times, at those times did you think I was coherent enough to follow along with what was going on in the world? I couldnt. My mind wasnt really “there”. I didn’t feel real most of the time. I cared for people yes. I was also tired and lost. Going through suffocating depression and pain. To be able to be healthy enough now mentally and to be alot more present in the world than before feels like a blessing. No one knows whats truly in a n y o n e s hearts. People can say the most perfect things, act in the most perfect way, all for show, concealing their true self. Who knows what celebrities truly care and have empathy? Dont believe in everything you see.... but besides that, i truly feel that Lana does care and she isn’t racist. She just most likely isnt super educated on the topic. And thats okay, she can learn. Whats important is she has empathy and a good heart and good morals.
 
Instead of tearing apart people for what they dont know, teach them. Dont attack them and single them out, come together snd teach one another. Its easier to teach someone ignorant with a good heart about these issues than someone ignorant with an evil heart and terrible beliefs.

No this is a harmful generalisation towards people who suffer with mental illnesses. I have mental illnesses, yet I'm not racist and I'm sure the same could be said for others here too. Marina should have said "you have to be a sociopath to be a cop". Her choice of words is poor and the fact that she hasn't even deleted the tweet or changed her words is appalling imo

honestly, a big fuck you to all those who don't understand how hurtful this is to people with mental illness. being mentally ill is not a choice. being a cop is. cops are choosing to abuse their power and abuse people. what a gross comparison. i've dealt with cops before in situations where i was mentally unstable and it's scary. most aren't trained to deal with us. i had a thing where if i felt scared i wasn't allowed to move or else i would die. it wasn't true, but that's what my mind and body made me believe. if i had frozen up and refused to move or speak, which has happened countless times before, the situation may have not ended well. 

honestly, the way people "cancelled" (we all know how this works) her but keep stanning/listening to Azealia even after she's been openly homophobic and transphobic,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, yikes

the album is still doing really great though
 
it's gonna need a new single or smth at some point though because they can't feed us the regular lil period of times where she'd be promoting a single bc like there are no proper performances, events, interviews she can do.. or well they are but they are all very low-hype-energy because it's all #stayathome #webcamlockdown content (which is not her fault) so that's why i think they're trying to push and decide the next single already (apparently levitating or hallucinate and love again for the uk or something) if the rumours are true.

Umm the album + Physical and especially Don't Start Now are still doing incredibly well on streaming and getting lots of airplay, Break My Heart is still rising on the charts, Dua worked her ass off during that "promo tour" (which she had to improvise thanks to Miss Rona – remember that others just postponed their campaigns), we got two videos for each one of the singles + lyric videos for every single song (and we can still expect at least one more single from the standard edition), and overall Future Nostalgia is still THE pop album of the year. Plus, Dua already started hinting at the upcoming deluxe edition plus collabs with Normani and possibly Kylie fucking Minogue. Like, chile, let the good sis breathe for a minute, she'll be back promoting the deluxe edition and the summer single soon enough, hopefully proper TV performances will be possible again in the foreseeable future too, and finally the Future Nostalgia Tour is happening in 2021. Also, we know from label reps that this campaign isn't over yet and there's still a lot to come.

I mean, she’s very no filter, she’s also high as fuck 24/7 and just a general troll. I’m not trying to make excuses, i love her but she’s got a loose mouth and she’s messy af. I wouldn’t take everything she says as a seriously as it may seem is all.
