So, I don't know if this has been discussed yet...
This artist I like is playing at a venue on Wilshire Blvd, but look at what comes up on Google Maps!
Do you think it's connected to Honeymoon??

PLEASE do this, we don't want you to get in trouble. It's very highly unlikely that you will even if you did at home, but just in case, use a software to block your IP address, or use public wifi like nathan said!

Just an FYI to anyone who has a problem with what I'm doing, fuck off and mind your own business. If you don't want to listen to the leak, okay then shut up and stay off the forums/websites then. You knew it was going to happen so why even read through the forums. I've given Lana so so so much of my money (Box sets, 5 concert tickets, etc.) and I already pre ordered HM on itunes. If I want to have a physical copy 3 or 4 days early then that's what will happen.

This is unnecessarily rude. They're just trying to get it earlier so we won't have to listen to MQ recordings anymore (if they had plans to share the CD rip with us), since the album is out somehow already. Let them do what they want.

I had a bizarre theory about Honeymoon that I don't think anyone has brought up yet. Well, I feel as if Honeymoon has something to do with time. Honeymoon (the song) and Terrence Loves You use a lot of archaic vocabulary and phrases. For example, not many people use the phrase "neither fought nor found" but Lana does in the bridge of Honeymoon. Plus, she sings "never dare change thee" (which is simply an old word that was used to mean "you". Also note that my dictionary states that it should be "restricted to archaic or religious contexts", and obviously the song doesn't have a religious theme, so I feel like it's definitely supposed to be set in the past.) Lana's language in both Honeymoon and Terrence Loves You evoke a sense of formality that you don't usually hear in modern music. Also, from what has been described about Music To Watch Boys To (retro film noir) and God Knows I Tried (gospel song), it's quite possible to conclude the first portion of the album is set in the past, most likely in the Jazz Age in the 20's - seeing as both the songs at the start of the album have clear jazz influences. Gospel music also started to become quite popular just after the 20's, so it would make sense that it comes after the jazz-influenced songs.

As the album progresses, Lana has stated that it builds up to a lot of more mid-tempo and uptempo songs, which could symbolise the songs working towards a more present-day setting. High By The Beach sounds like it could be from the 60's. We then have Burnt Norton as an interlude, which, by the way, is a poem about time - how the past, present and future are all connected. This would make a lot of sense in relation to my theory of the album working with time. Lana also said in her interview with James Franco that the album then returns to its initial jazzy sound at the end, which probably means the songs slow down towards the end again (which could make sense considering there's a jazz cover to conclude). Also, 24 sounds like it could relate to this theme of time on the record.

Maybe the story is Lana looking into the future, "dreaming away" her life, and then around the interlude, she starts to return to reality.

It's very simple about leaks- don't listen, don't forward, don't illegally download, buy the official versions and adults should be able to wait 3 weeks

It's like so many here are kids at Christmas and rip open a little piece of wrapping paper to peak at the gift, then on Christmas there is no surprise.

It's one thing for unreleased, never released extras

But the album itself should wait until it is released so every click and download counts to her (so one then can't complain while depreiving her of a sale.

unless of course one is here to mock her.

@@SarcasticBeauty- btw- when she takes a few years off  have kids, her kids will be instant millionaires too. How cool is that. And that is 100% thanks to her.
Maybe she will do what Garth Brooks did and take 15 years off.
Her fans will be there on the other side of that.

And yes, it is artistic to sing and release music if one is a singer.
The promo stuff has nothing to do with artistry.
As the movie "Field of dreams" says "If you build it, they will come"
    The music is building it.
Coming is up to the fans.
(you decide if this is a pun or not).

Alright back on topic, I can't believe the album comes out in less than a month. I'm still loving Honeymoon so much, it's so dreamy and ethereal, such a beautiful song. Terrence is also wonderful, the instrumental is so good, the intro alone is goosebump-inducing.

I'm wondering - and not to be snarky or mean, but genuinely wondering - if people who think this is boring or dull have ever really suffered a loss. Not just a breakup, but a true, tear-you-apart, knock-you-down, no light at the end of the tunnel kind of loss.  Because I feel like anyone who has really experienced THAT kind of loss, or depression, will GET this song. It moves me so deeply, I can hardly bear it's beauty. Not boring at all. Slow does not equal boring, and I think that's something we tend to forget.

Are my posts physically harming you? Are they giving you health problems? Did Lana give you a certificate saying nobody else besides you can Stan for her? Has God not given us free will? If my posts bother you so much why do you read them? I feel really sad for you. I'll pray for you too!
