you people are literally insane what good do you think yelling at her about this is going to do... yes NFTs are bad for the environment so is literally everything else about capitalist culture. nobody attacks you for driving a car or using a phone. charli didn't like invent NFTs, she's not some major investor, she didn't even announce this promotional performance as far as i'm aware it was obviously being kept on the low. is harassing her off of social media during her album campaign really the hill you all want to die on? this hostility is so misplaced, if you're that mad about it go protest a pipeline or read some lenin or something. her fans say they want her to succeed then try to cancel her over dumb shit like this

Summer Bummer is deeply underrated - I understand why much of the fandom wouldn't appreciate it because of how heavily hip-hop it is, but I think it's this brilliant combination of dark yet charming, light yet heavy, hard-hitting yet laidback. It's danceable and a real summer jam but it's also a little sinister and devilish. Also I fckn LOVE the lyrics: "You can't escape my affection, wrap you up in my daisy chains"; "White lines and black beaches and miles in between us"; "We travel for weeks just to escape your demons".

I have LITEARLLY ZERO idea why people still wanting charli to release 2 years old leaked songs..... LET THEM GO oh my god. charli doesn't want them, we heard them, SO? public won't care about those songs so why you all still saying "I wish charli put X to her next album" "I wish charli would release X" BITCHES STOPPP.

Its not a 100m dollar production.. it was a movie by a singer making her 2nd album, literally doing what the other girls can't. One of the most ambitious projects I've seen in pop music for a WHILE.

Idk if anyone else would agree or disagree, but I think Lana should do psychedelic rock on her next record.
Could you imagine a Lana x Stevie Nicks collab?
Or a Lana x Flaming Lips album?
Holy shit......

nani liked a post in a topic by brooklynbaby91 in Is Lana Declining?
Artistically, I don't think she's declining. She's exploring different sounds with each album, so it might be hard to take if you're super attached to a sound from one specific era of hers. You have BTD stans who keep waiting for her to return to that style of music, UV stans who wanted her to continue that way, meanwhile Lana just wants to make songs with whatever sound she finds interesting at the time.
There's no denying that budget-wise things aren't as great as they were in the BTD days when she was putting out masterpieces like the Ride video. But I think this is a result of a business situation rather than because Lana is starting to suck.

I found this on http://www.songmeani...22107858877556/
And I believe this, it may not be true, but it sounds great, and gave me a clearer explanation on Lana's past (If it is true)
BUT I don't agree that Lana has a child. The child could be refering to a relative. And Lana is the carer of the child

nani liked a post in a topic by Thunder Revenant in What musical direction should Lana go in for LDR5?
She should just finally embrace the fact she's supposed to sing over rock-ish instrumentals.
Stuff like her Yayo-rock-version, her Body Electric - rock version, her Heart-Shaped-Box cover, the unknown song she rehearsed during the Paradise tour in Russia or the OTTR live version during the ES tour. Instrumentals with power and drive. She did a good step in that direction with UV but she should go further. Something that really .. rocks! It goes along with her voice so well and it would be a great change after Honeymoon.

nani liked a post in a topic by BBM Baby in What musical direction should Lana go in for LDR5?
Would be cool if she worked with Justin Parker and Dan Auerbach and combine her pop and rock sounds (Born to Ultraviolence if you wish) kind of like her National Anthem demo

nani liked a post in a topic by PinUpCartoonBaby in Weird theory about "Ray"
Oh, I really like this theory. There're so many mysteries about this Ray guy that I always enjoy new "findings" even though they are pure speculations.
The guy you're referring to is probably Ray Dillman. His family seems to play an important role for those T.R.A.F.F.I.C. events the Grant family used to go to. He and Lizzy definitely know each other but I have no evidence that they had a romantic relationship or that he is where the "Del Ray/Rey" came from.
Here's a picture of Lizzy and Ray, in case you haven't seen it.
However some time ago Lana stated in an interview with Intro magazine that her name actually originates from Delray Beach in Florida where her then boyfriend came from. But funnily this also applies to Ray Dillman who according to his Facebook profile did not only go to a school near Delray Beach but also lived/lives near it...

nani liked a post in a topic by Valentino in Meanings of Lana Songs
"What's the meaning of this song?" This is a thread where we indulge our inner literature major while also answering the question - "Is Lana really that repetitive with her themes?"
This is not about real life people. This about looking at songs by themselves, without outside context to help you understand. What textual evidence do we have for each song's meaning? In an effort to keep this distinct from Lanalysis, the topic is limited to looking at a text instead of pointing to interviews. Obviously if we want to talk about Lana's intentions, we need to look at what she says, but here we're looking at what the song says, not what any authority (Lana, a video, a single cover, etc.) says about the song.
These aren't meant to be authoritative conclusions. There's a lot of people here who have different views on these songs and I wanna hear about them, which is why I made this thread. Moreover, these are very superficial descriptions. I'm pretty sure there's more to "Oh say can you see" and "West Coast" than I've written here. Write your opinions on what Lana's songs mean! There are some songs (especially Sirens-era stuff) that I have a very hard time making any sense out of, so if anyone has ideas on that, please spit them out.
Sirens
Lana Del Ray
Born to die
Paradise
Ultraviolence
Honeymoon
From a quick glance, BTD definitely looks like the album that most centers itself around a single theme, that theme being love, particularly eternal love and lost love. UV deals with depression, relationships that are illicit or don't work, and criticisms of Lana (BrBaby, FMWUTTT, MPG, even UV?). Honeymoon goes back to some old themes, while also talking about her relationship with fame (GKIT, SS, DLMBM) and some one-off themes, like "a foreign man is often ignored for frozen treats" and "an amorous murderer's life is chronicled while Lana is fascinated with the length of the Earth's rotation." God only knows what the hell Sirens is about - lots of talk about addiction, and other peoples' lives? AKA seems more consistent in terms of dealing with classic Lana themes like kitschy Americana (trailers, motels, gas stations).
What are your thoughts?

Being without you daddy
Make me feel dark blue
Sitting alone in my red party dress
Waiting for you
Jesus never wept
Like I do you for you
Daddy tell me
What can I do, daddy, what can I do
To make you mine
