Title.

From Once Upon a Dream, to Gatsby (2013), Big Eyes and so on, that birthed some of the most teemingly beautiful songs off her catalogue. Her cover for Once Upon A Dream, I Can Fly, Big Eyes, the thirty seconds of Life is Beautiful ( :crying2:), and of course Young and Beautiful which imo propelled her music towards that venue have all been blissfully heaven to listen to.

So, from revisiting Elvis, and Evita's You Must Love Me, where would you like to see Lana's music land next (film wise, not from our receipts, but that'd be nice :delicious:) ?

She's worked with Maleficent, Disney, so perhaps something animated wouldn't be too far off. Big Eyes had a very much magical quality to it.
Gatsby was quite grand, while the Weber collaboration was pretty demure.

Which vein would her music fit best?

Shows, which kind, cameo?
Films, past/future, cameo/music?

Animated?
Use more past material? Reissue/new?

Something dark fantasy like Maleficent again or The Love Witch: pt 2

And cameo in American Horror Story as the imaginary daughter of Sarah Paulson (Cordelia Fox) in the Coven crossover, where she even sings with Stevie Nicks and that would be the video for BPBP, just like Seven Wonders was for Coven. I mean, thats a bit specific, but a girl can dream.

This is funny because I just remembered smth. I was watching this hot bareback p0rn movie last night and Paradise EP was playing in the background. Ugh... Lana is really the queen of gays. IMPACT :defeated:

OT: I'd love to see her in a David Lynch movie.

I'd love to see her in American Horror Story. It'd be really cool

I was actually rewatching Coven and that would be AMAZING.

I'd like to see a movie with Lana for the whole soundtrack, maybe a movie like Love Witch or something with that campy vibe.

I would like to see Elizabeth Grant do a cameo in each of the Elizabeth Grant presenting Lana Del Rey broadway musicals that one day will happen in chronological order and each one nominating and winning the Tony award.(on her way to being a EGOT) (Emmy Grammy Oscar Tony)

with perhaps Vice President Lin Manuel Miranda doing the music and choreo

Lana is our modern day Edith Piaf. Totally unique. a mixture of Brian WIlson Roy Orbison, Leonard Cohen, Gram Parsons, Elton & Bernie. Born to Die/Paradise is comparable to Elton's Captain Fantastic. All the records need to be listened whole. Waiting for a box set vinyl of all 400 songs not on any lp

@@CatchTheBreeze @lernerdelrey @ anyone else

First, most posters here, all the times I brought up Twin Peaks 2017, many here said they were bored by it, didn't have patience nor understanding of the masterpiece

Mr. Lynch drew, and the reason it is so wonderful Mr. Lynch won an Emmy nomination for Sound. Because sound was everything from the first second, to the final end credit. Where it was the Sound of Silence.

While casually one would think Lana and David Lynch should colab, in fact the two while they are in the same universe, however, not in the same neighborhood at the same time and never do meet.  (and one only sees this after Honeymoon and Lust for Life and after watching ALL episodes of Twin Peaks 2017 without missing one.

(and why no one was able to binge it, nor should anyone binge it in the future, it needs to be watched as Mr. Lynch wanted it to be heard (and seen).

With a week off after Episode 8, the single greatest episode in any visual medium anywhere at anytime.

Lana is water and water is cleansing, the way to cleanse from the abuse documented by Elizabeth in her documentaries and poems posing as albums

David is the nightmare that is inland, never any water, never any cleansing, never waking up in the same place one started. And never knowing where one is, when they

reach the place they think they reached.

Elizabeth knows now to stay. And no longer run. But stay and fight.

Being asked first to sing at the Leonard tribute  was far more important than a collab with Bond or Lynch.

(but yes, Lana did Blue Velvet much better than Bobby Vinton's hit). That is neither here nor there.

I would like to see L.D.R. create the soundtrack to a Film Noir style movie. Perhaps a detective story filmed in black and white in which Lana Del Rey plays the part of the femme fatale.
